Finding this weekend really difficult...

Hi guys

I am determined not to come off this diet until I get to my goal weight, but last night and today for some reason I can't stop thinking about food. It's really bothering me and I don't know why. It's got so bad that I have been googling pictures of pizzas etc and just sitting staring at the pictures on my computer screen! I think it's the weekend and food normally rates high on my list of things that contribute to a good weekend.

I really cannot stop thinking about a Papa Johns pizza and I feel so close to tears about it and I don't really know why. I only have another 10lbs to loose before I move up to SS+ and then up through to the other programmes so I really need to keep myself in check and not call Papa Johns!

Does anyone else have the odd day where they cannot stop craving one thing? At the moment it's all I can think about and that's really upsetting me.

I know exactly how you feel. At moments like this I will do anything to justify sabotaging myself, including convincing myself that it's for the best to 'have a break' or 'swap to another diet tomorrow' etc etc.

If you can distract yourself until the feeling passes you'll feel much more in control of the situation, maybe go for a walk, or have a bath, something to relax you a bit.

Hope that helps!! :)
Yeah I think you are right Munkypooh - I need to distract myself. I think I am going to walk to Camden and buy myself something nice that doesn't involve body shape like some nice hair grips!

Thank you for your advice

Ooh, I'm really jealous that you're in walking distance of Camden, I love going there!
Have a good wander round the lock for me! :)
Ha Ha - yeah its a fabulous place isn't it. I live in Islington so it takes me about 15 mins walk to get to the lock :)

I'm in Northampton, so I've got to get the train, then the tube from Euston...I'd rather have your 15 minute walk!
