food freezing advice needed please ?

hope everyone is okay,

please can someone advise me if this would be okay?

I had some mince in the freezer, I have defrosted it in the fridge for 24 hours and want to make 3 individual cottage pies, I will cook the mince and veg and place in the dishes and then top with mash,I will cook 1 in the oven, but I want to put 2 in the freezer to save for other days, when I want to eat these I will get out and put in the fridge to defrost and then cook in the oven for 20 mins,

is this okay?

thanks to anyone who can advise me?

we dont have a microwave so I wont be using that to heat/defrost anything
