Aww ceeboo, don't be so hard on yourself, 4lb is fantastic, you should be proud you've stuck to the diet 100% it's not easy so you have soo much to be proud of -4lb of fat is huge! It's a massive step in the right direction, so don't feel disheartened, it takes as long as it takes so chin up and look at the positives! Well done and don't lose focus!

thanks Kc, I've been spoilt now, want losses like that every week.lol I know it wont be but yes I am chuffed and it has given me a real boost.

Im sure if you put your products in your luggage not hand luggage it will be ok. When do you go??

I've just saved that pic as my screensaver so everytime I feel like I've had a slow weight loss week I can look at it and motivate myself! so thank you! :) x

Its horrible aint it? But it is a lot when you look at it.

Its hot hot hot here in sunny Hastings, had to sit in shade during lunchtime. Still, this weather I don't think of food at all.
 
Wannabe I'm flying this morning sat in the lounge as I type- didn't get a chance to pop to my cdc so no bars so going to abstain on the flight! We shall see how pissed off my neighbours get on the plane with me weeing every half hour! Anyway looking forwards to it, nice sunny weather that isn't stifling and being able to walk outside is going to be lovely! I fly back next thurs- land Friday then back to uk on the sat so I forsee a bit of jetlag!
Does anyone know if you're ok to take vitamin c tablets? You know the orange ones that you dissolve in water? This is too much info I'm sure but I've been having some women's problems- no period for over 13 weeks now, which is from before me starting cd, all tests were clear but still nothing, doctor has put me on some tablets to induce my period but still nothing so I'm now trying every natural remedy I can find on top of the meds- parsley tea- tastes like cut grass and mud- nothing - so want to try overdose of vit c 3000mg- will the vit c orange tablets you dissolve in water take me out of ketosis? Any other remedies that people know of?

That lb of fat is horrible- and to think I want to lose 100 of them! I must look like jabba the hut!

Keep up the good work ladies- I may not be on too much whilst I'm travelling but will pop on when I can!

Be bloody careful with the extra Vitamin C love, I haven't a clue about it but not sure if it's good for you to overdose. If the test etc for your periods have come up with nothing why don't you just go with it?


You are going to be knackered with all that travelling through time lines. lol


That 1lbs of fat picture is quiet disturbing isn't it? I like to look at it every now and then to remind myself what Ive got inside me and really want to get rid of.

Just tried a size 18 dress I had in wardrobe. A few weeks ago I tried and NO way was that zip going all the way up!! Today......I can do it up. it feels comfy (so I can sit/walk breathe!!) and am going to wear it next Saturday for my daughter's 18th surprise birthday party!!!!!!

It's an 18, and don't want to be this size for longer than I have to but I am happy with this little triumph. I really didn't think just 4 weeks would make that difference.:D

Sophiesophs, thanks for your message- I am struggling with the water to be honest- I'm based in Dubai and it is Ramadan so I can't drink in public or the office so I am only hitting about 2 litres- will try and up it although it is difficult at the moment. Having said that it helps on the food side as you can't eat either and the majority of restaurants and food outlets are closed so less temptation! I'm going to watch the protein, think I may have been having a bit too much!

Thanks Squinky- yep one blip isn't going to throw me off, so am back and focused!

Wannabesize12- yes it could have been far worse! at least I have resisted sweet as I really have a sweet tooth and think if I fell off I'd be found in a heap with chocolate smeared over my face and empty wrappers around me lol - and that isn't going to get me into a bikini!

Im in Dubai too, Ive started today and I leave on Thursday for a month! I am self employed so I am not at the office today. I had a 9am meeting at the Burg Khalifa and came straight home. Ive a few things to do in the office in the coming days but will mostly be in my apartment. We can drink in the office too, we have a cafe and it is mostly westerners :)

Keep up the diet, I did it in 2007, lost 2stone, then did maintenance with a holiday in the middle and went onto lose too much! I leveled out back to just under 9stone then my dad passed away in august 2008 and slowly my weight creeped up, i had no control over it but this week decided enough was enough. I am only 5ft2" and I weigh 12stone so it is evident.

Im determined, you can do it too. We can meet when I get back and have water or coffee somewhere if you like. If it helps to meet someone and make you accountable then lets do it :)

Today I decided to check my measurements, I measured myself at work 8 days ago and was pretty horrified, baring in mind I didn't measure at the very beginning so a week and a half in my full bust was 45 1/2 inches, under bust was 39, waist was 40 1/2 ( sob) and hips were 49 so I measured today 8 days later and full bust is now 43 1/2 under bust is 38 waist is 38 and hips 45 so huge changes in such a short space of time, my bust and hips are now measuring a size 18 but my waist is still big but I can see it changing so feeling really good about this lifestyle change.

I was going to go for a swim but managed to talk myself out of it as I was scared of going up to the pool in front of all the skinnies. It's the one thing in Dubai I struggle with, there are so many body perfect beautiful women fluffing about in bikinis, lounging by the pool- it makes me so body conscious which I hate because they are stopping me from doing something I need to do to improve myself. So I'm getting up early in the morning and going for a swim at 6 am when hopefully the pool will be empty! Breast stroke for 45 mins :) let's try and tone up these flabby bits!

Oo skin is feeling really soft with my bio oil and cocoa butter routine - skin feels less dry and is starting to look much clearer - stretch marks are still visible but I've noticed my batwings look smaller so sll good so far.

Feck them all (I'm Irish), this is your journey not theirs, swimming is brilliant for you and the best thing you can do on this type of diet, remember you are not supposed to really exercise. 20 flights of stairs will gain muscle so the weight loss which we want so badly each week wont be as high so don't get put off. Swimming will tone and help the flabby skin you are worried about. :) Also if you don't mind me offering some advice, start with over arm stroke as breast stroke is not good to warm up with and can cause injury or so I was told by an instructor many years ago!
 
Oh wannabe that's fantastic!! Well done misses. So chuffed for you. :D knew you could do it.

Just had my first weigh in and I cried. I only lost 4lb. Just a shock after seeing how well other people do and I have been 100%, drinking 3L of water a day and just feel a bit blah. Gonna keep going of course. 4lb is still 4lb closer to my goal and 4lb closer to being healthier. My consultant was a star. She hugged it out with me and said I may have slower progress with my weightloss due to my pcos but should see the results in inches instead. I am quite pleased to say that I lost 6inches. But I dunno. I feel I've let everyone down somehow. :( first week should be the big week and I just don't understand why it hasn't come across on the scales.

It is possible you have less water retention. The first weeks big loss is mostly water not fat, it is usually only around 4lb of fat at most so dont be disheartened XXX
 
I didn't have a loss last week, I cried. Felt very low for two days. Consultant said it was water retention. Started week 3 yesterday, fingers crossed for a loss this week or I'm giving up!!

Ive started back today not done it since 2007, kept it off until my dad died then it slowly crept back up and now im 12stone so need to lose 3 stone. Only doing total food replacement for around 10 days so i can share a meal with my mum when i trip home.

I had weigh ins before with no loss or just 1lb and was so upset but if you keep going the next week might be 5 or 6 so dont give up, it all pans out over time and without a doubt the best diet ive ever done and ive tried loads this past 24 months
