Getting a bit bored now....

This week i'm finding it hard to be *bothered* to stick to this diet. I still havent cheated, but i'm so booooooooored.

I can't go out with friends as they are all boozy students who socialise over alcohol and to be honest i dont feel like i could go and sit with them and sip my water.
I can't go out for meals with the OH....
I'm just generally grumpy!

I'm so annoyed at myself for not waiting till after my birthday (friday) to start CD as so many people are making the effort to come from long distances for the weekend that i feel like i cant entertain them as i have to sit in the corner with my bloody shake.

I'm just grumpy, i know it'll pass.....
but i'm bored, grumpy, hungry and had the longest day ever....

Well its my birthday on wednesday and my oh wanted to go out for an all you can eat chinese,
But have decided to go to piccies instead.
You don`t have to be a recluse,you can still go out. I have decided That to put weight on at this stage would set me back so much and I know that next years birthday I will be where I want to be.

Its for such a short space of time, try not to view it as a prison sentence, more of a life changing thing.

Do something mad, like have a rock climbing party!

I decided to coincide the diet with starting to learn Japanese - enough of a challenge I think to keep me busy. Just had my shake, and I am off to my first lesson in half an hour!

its not easy hun but just think how fantastic you will feel at the end of your journey! You will have many many more birthdays and wont it feel great to celebrate next year as a skinny minnie!:D

This diet is pretty fast and just try to imagine yourself a few months down the line - you will almost be done! How great is that?!

If you feel absolutely desperate then consider doing one of the other plans such as 790. I changed to 790 on week 6 because i couldn't handle SS anymore. I really admire those that can but for me it was just too difficult.

I feel the same way sometimes. Yesterday to get over it, my OH took me shopping - i bought £20 worth of LUSH stuff so i can relax in a bath instead of going out. I'm still bored of it, but just keep going because you know what it's worth in the end. I'm only on day 8 btw.

Oh Leah, you are doing so well and have passed the first week without a hitch (other than getting your menses back). I agree with the comment about doing 790 for a little while then you can at least join in with your friends and family with the food. On the other hand just think as someone else said (sorry TOTM and memory like a sieve) it is only for a short time.

I survived - had some coke zero (although tasted really weird) and now i've having a choc tetra and coffee - mmmm, CD diet mocha!

Thank you all for your support once again. Someone got a fast forward button so i can get to week 12 already???

I'm with you on those feelings yesterday - I was sooo the same and spent all day crying and sulking because it wasn't fair that I couldn't eat/drink and go out. But the others are right - of course we can, just have to think outside the box a bit!!
