I was just having a little browse around the slimfast website, I've not really had a good look before. I found this.....
You can’t control how much weight you lose, but you can control the efforts you make to lose it – so that's what you need to base your goals on.
For example, good goals would be:
When you’ve achieved one of your goals, tick it off – you’ll soon feel great within yourself, and lose the unwanted weight.
I thought it to be a very sensible way of thinking actually, and definitely something I will be looking into. I know I am definitely guilty of setting myself up for 'failure' by setting myself weightloss targets weekly/monthly, and if I don't manage to achieve them, feeling like a complete waste of space, and thinking that all my hard work has been for nothing, which in turn makes me depressed and therefore eat!!!

For example, good goals would be:
- walk for 20 minutes each day
- go through the day without eating a biscuit
- lose two pounds in a week
- lose lots of weight
