Hi all, need a bit of support. I know it's picky, but I didn't lose the 3lb I needed to make the two stone mark on my birthday last week - was one pound short. Broke abstinence that night and am now struggling - was sat at home last night and felt an overwhelming urge to eat that I couldn't control. I now feel terrible - I've let everyone down and am dreading my weigh in tomorrow. Anyone else suffering - I'm in Week 7.

It's not picky at all. I know exactly how you feel. This time last year I was doing Cambridge diet and, on about week 6, I was down to 12 st 2 and a half pounds. I was convinced that the week after I would easily drop into the 11's and stuck to SS 100%. At the weigh in I had lost one quarter of a pound so that left me 12 st 2 and a quarter pounds!! I couldn't believe it! It really knocked me and I had an overwhelming urge to eat - which I did for the next ten months - non-stop. So, here I am again just starting Lighter Life, with at least 2 stone to get off before getting back to that weight again! If only I had stuck with it!

Really try and stick with it to the end. You don't want to be back here in a year's time thinking 'if only....' You can do it :)

Hi Karen,

I know it can be hard, and once you have fallen of the wagon so to speak it only becomes harder to get back on. Now is the time for you to remind yourself why you started in the first place. Create that mental picture of what you want to look like again.
You can do it, you just need to choose to do it. All the best of luck, hang in there.

hugs to you.... just reading your post makes me realise how difficult it can be to do abstinence!, which i am about to embark on next week, cheer up, draw a line and start again, use the CBT sessions to help you, read your notes, apply the stuff you have learnt!, look at your goals and dreams, if you have made any!!! hugs again love clarins
