Hi fellow CD'ers. Thanks for taking time out looking at this thread!

Ok..Need some help.. Have had a terrible few weeks with a family crisis and started feeling unwell on Friday eve. Have no energy, willpower or motivation. I don't know why.. GP said it could be flu, but I know its not.. I've just crashed a bit I think. But.. I need to loose weight so badly, but getting back on CD wagon to slimville, I'm finding dreadfully hard going at the moment. I've a few good things coming up to look forward to, but even those aren't motivating me.

    SOS !!!

Any words of wisdom would be welcome. Thanks again. xx

oh dear! are you sure you are not depressed? just that your syptoms sound a bit like depression, and if so then perhaps you need to be in a better frame of mind before doing CD. Although I know that doing CD and losing weight will help you feel better so its up to you. you sound like you need a big hug, and a listening ear and reading behind the lines it seems that life has become a bit overhwlming at the moment. It happens to the best of us, esp women who have to everything for everyone.

Take some time out and make sure your health is where it should be. If you are not feeling ok then no diet will improve that for you. your health comes first chick. if you do decide to do CD then I will be here to help motivate you. take care

If you are feeling low then for the first week of CD at least you will feel worse.

Thanks Leeds. I re-started few weeks ago, took a week out as went away for a break, but not felt much like getting back on it, although I know if I do and can crack this, then I'll feel lots better. Not sure about being depressed? Might be a little. Had a lot to contend with lately so it could be.. I'm also in alot of pain with my hip and that has got me down, nothing on xray, but have been sent to a pain clinic which isn't until April.. Just need to get back on top again.. I know I'll feel good when I am. Thanks again Leeds. xx

Hey hun. Sorry I have no words of wisdom, but I can totally relate to what you are saying.

I am having a baaaad week, feeling really low, emotionally and physically drained and just not sticking to the plan at all. Am dreading Fri as I know I have gained, but really can't stop this self destruction. I too desperately need to lose the weight, having done so well so far I am really upset with myself for not lifting my mood and continuing on this path of self destruction.

I know this is no help to you, but just wanted you to know that you aren't alone right now chick.

    Charlie xx
