Total Solution Having a hard time on Exante

Morning, can anyone advise me please?
I am on day 10 of Exante TS and still feeling really hungry most of the time. I have been sticking to it about 99% - having the occasional small amount of protein food (ie a tin of mackerel fillets after running 5k Race for Life on Sunday, or half a hard boiled egg when I can't bear the hunger pangs anymore) I have only lost around 4lb (and I am about 2 to 3 stone overweight so I would expect this to come off much quicker) and I am getting headaches and feeling so exhausted I am falling asleep on the sofa by half 9 in the evening.
I did Cambridge SS+ (4 packs a day) before and after 3 days felt amazingly energized and not hungry and found it easy to stick to - this is not happening and I wonder if I am not in ketosis or not sure what's going on. I bought the bumper pack so I need to finish them off so as not to waste them and I am really determined to lose the weight but this is soooo damn hard!
Please can anyone offer any advise or encouragement?

This doesn't sound right at all! Have you been drinking lots of water? Have you maybe been over doing things? Silly question, but have you weighed on the same scales at the same time?

Its still 4lbs though, which is, but maybe something else is going on, is your time of the month maybe?

Maybe you have a bug, nothing to do with a vlcd, and thats making you feel ill?

Hope the scales reflect your hard work soon!

Maybe try adding sn extra shake for a few weeks especially as you are so active ? And measure yourself !!!! Don't forget muscle weighs more than fat and you must be building it !!!! Xxx
Thank you - I'll keep plugging away at it - an extra shake sounds like a good idea, I am doing lots of walking, plus Zumba, Tap and Fitness Pilates classes so maybe I need to add the extra shake.
That sounds like wayyyy too much exercise to me. On TFR diets vigorous exercise is not advised as it can lead to injury. Not only that it almost always slows down losses. You are burning off tons more calories than you are taking in so the body will leech what it needs to keep your heart beating and your blood pumping by 'eating' your muscles. It has no alternative!

You are not consuming enough carbohydrate to fuel your muscles particularly if you are running. You can get badly injured and the injury will take longer to heal because you are on such a low calorie and carb intake.

Either you need to eat more, or exercise less. That's just about the size of it. Please take care, your health is of paramount inportance x
