Yes it will. If you are just starting the diet it is carb withdrawal, 4 days approx and you will be in ketosis and it will get a lot easier.

Yes, add a bit less water next time and see if its any better. Personally I hate all the soups and porridges and stick to shakes,
 
Pretty much 90% of this diet is water, i've gotten to the stage where I just grumble and drink them as fast as I can so I can do something more productive lol. :)
