hellpppp im new !!

I started today after putting it off till after the weekend ive had two shakes so far choc and strawberry although didnt much like the strawberry but i drank it (just) any tips or advice you have is sooooo welcome i am 18st1 now and a size 22/24 so would love to get to 11st7 and be a size 14 so wish me luck please ps how long do you think it will take ????????????:wave_cry:

Aim for the promised stone a month and let any thing more be a pleasant surprise! That way you know it should be no more than 6 and a half months at most -IF you follow the plan to the letter.

My tips are -blend the shakes with ice and add a sweetener until you get used to the taste -esp 4 strawberry. YOu soon find that becoming too sweet and dropping the sweetener.

Making the choc with Peppermint is also good. HOt or cold.

Add a spoonful of coffee to the vanilla blended with ice and it's really nice.

YOu'll be surprised how creative you get!

Look at the stickies at the top of the screen and you'll find LOADS of hints and advice.

And use this forum too. It' great and full of encouraging and supportive people.

I keep a jug of water in the fridge for my shakes, so much better colder. I too didnt like the strawberry despite keeping going with it, so in my second week (this week), only bought chocolate ones. I personally thought the chicken soup was vile, I also waited til I was desperate, and still it was vile - lol.

I have found info on this site regarding using a hand blender to make the shakes up to be a great tip. NO Lumps!

Please stay with it, I found the first week really hard, and day 3/4 really so hard, but kept with it. This week I am still finding it hard, but do-able.

hey and welcome to LT. i'm on my 4th week and believe it has flown by. it is hard but getting easier week by week. best tip drink all the H2O you can manage!! i find drinking 4litres plus keeps hunger and headaches at bay. the vanilla and strawberry drinks are nice with very cold water. i make up with 300ml of water and hand whisk (electric). the choc shake wasn't so nice on its own but i followed the tip on here and now make a black peppermint tea again 300ml leave it cool then whisk in the choc shake mix it is sooooo nice especially when still warm. Sorry if this is long winded just trying to say what makes this easier for me and number one is this forum!!! use it well and pass away the time on here stories are so inspirational and help and advice is invaluable. good luck for your first week. ha ha i'm only 4 weeks in myself and i feel like its been sooo much longer talking to newbies lol

you can do it, just stay focused, i lost 10 pound in my first week, i was shocked and nearly wet myself, lol, anything is possible, good luck, x Raquel
