Here goes - 5lb loss means down to 18 points!!

    Just started ww (not for the first time!!) and am determined to try and keep this food diary going.
    So, yesterday I had:

    small tin tomato soup 2 pts
    2 slices - crusts away bread 1 pts
    frazzles 1 pts
    1 good for you chicken enchilada 4.5 pts
    small Mexican rice 2 pts
    sour cream 3 pts
    jalapeno’s 0
    salsa 0
    small glass red wine 2 pts
    chocolate ginger 2 pts
    TOTAL 17.5 pts
    1.5 pts saved

    Been good so far today too, hope I can keep it up

    LUNCH

    M&S count on us tuna & peppers sandwich 4pts

    low fat sheperds pie 7 pts
    veg 0 pts
    crusts away bread x2 1 pt
    TOTAL 15.5 pts
    3.5 points saved! If i can resist snacking....

    Friday was good -

    low fat noodles 1pt
    pasta 9 pts
    salad 0 pts
    wine 4 pts
    frazzles 1 pts

    7.5 points saved

    Saturday was a disaster!!! started well with:

    turkey rashers 2 pts
    crusts away bread 2 pts
    mushrooms 0 pts
    chilli 8 pts
    rice 2 pts

    then descended into gluttony!!!!

    champagne 10 points?????
    chilli 6 points

    7.5 points OVER!!!

    Sunday was a little better

    tortillas 6 pts
    chicken 2 pts
    sour cream 2 pts
    beer 4 pts
    chocolates 5 pts

    STILL 7.5 OVER THOUGH!!!!

    Weigh in tomorrow so I dread to think wht that result will be. oh well, another monday, another fresh start.............

    Just stick with it!!! Do a bit of extra excercise or just forget it and move on.

    Well, despite going well over my points at the weekend I still managed a loss of 2.5lbs! :scale:
    So onto this weeks food.

    Monday

    M&S COU sandwich 4 pts
    Home made chilli & rice 8 pts
    beer 1.5 pts
    crisps 1.5 pt

    Total 15 pts
    saved 4pts

    Good start to the week....just gotta keep it up!

    So far so good this week! i'm exercising at night too but I never use my points from this. Feeling good and stuck with it so far today too.

    Made a delicious dinner last night which was only 6.5 pts and so filling I struggled to finish it. Pesto and feta stuffed mushrooms on garlic bread. Delighted to discover Asda’s good for you pesto is only 0.75 pts for a tablespoon!!

    M&S COU tuna & red pepper sandwich 4 pts
    small tin tomato soup 2.5 pts
    mushrooms 0 pts
    homemade feta & pesto stuffing 4.5 pts
    salad 0 pts
    low fat garlic bread slices x 2 2 pts
    2 chocolate gingers 2 pts
    2 corona 3 pts

    TOTAL 18 pts

    As I’ve said in my diary, the weekend was a bit all over the place as I was out on Friday night but then ill with cold the rest of the weekend. I have a huge pot of zero point soup which I intend to live on for the next 2/3 days as a mini detox so we’ll see how that goes.
    Weigh in is tomorrow so here’s last weeks points:

    Hi peeps, I had a couple of weeks where I fell off the wagon and was lucky to get a STS but I’ve been back on track for the last week and lost 5 lbs. Last week I was on 19 points so I’m going to put my food diary in here for the whole week for info. I WI on Tuesdays so will start there

    Can't believe I was under points with all that chocolate! Not too healthy but at least I had loads of veg with my soup

    I had 9.5 points saved at the start of the day and was intending to use them but I was a bit nervy about it and wasn't hungry anyway.....must get better at using all my points though

    So, 15.5 points not used last week - I know thats naughty and really hope it doesn't slow me down if I eat a bit more this coming week. The weird thing is thats with me having a few beers and even a chinese, its amazing what I can manage for those 19 points...and I did lose 5lbs!!
    In the tens now which means I've dropped a point and am down to only 18 per day.

    I know. I'm terrible for skipping breakfast. it's mainly because I'm not a morning person at all and don't really feel like it till I get to work and then I'm so busy I don't get time.

    I do also like to save points for the evenings as thats when I like to eat but I think I'll try getting some fruit in my diet for brekkie this week. That way I can eat it on the go and it'll bring my points up a bit.

    Bananas are always good im outta them at the moment so have been eating strawberries but i think bananas are the best for people who dont like brekie but feel they need something plus its one of your five a day and keeps you fuller for longer than other fruit :)
