Away with the faeries....
Hey all. Well I have come crawling back to Slimming World as it is the only eating plan I had consistently lost weight on until I had a great deal of troubles with my old consultant.

I have lost 50+lbs from my starting weight of 25st 7lbs. I am currently at 21st 13.5lbs and am joining a different class next Wednesday but following plan until then aswell.

Todays meals have been/will be as follows.

Green Day.


Saturday 28th August 2010

B - 2 egg white + 1 egg omelette
1 small onion
1 small pepper
Half tin light choices beans
S - 6 blackberries
5 strawberries
1 WW yoghurt
2 mini meringues (1.5)
L - Jacket potato
Half tin light choices beans
3 babybel light (HexA)
S - Apple
2 x Alpen Light (HexB)
D - Risotto rice
Oxo
Small onion
Garlic
Brocolli
3 babybel lights (HexB)
S - Milk for tea (HexA)
Options hot choc (4)
6 blackberries
5 strawberries
1 WW yoghurt
4 mini meringues (3)


I would appreciate any help and support on this. I used to know SW like the back of my hand, i'll be ok once I get books etc again.

OK, meals for last 2 days both green days. Please tell me if you think i am eating too much cos i feel like i am.

your an inspiration!! ive joined here again today on the sw ee plan and it is mega daunting i want to lost 104 lbs but im going to plod away slowly at it!! xx

Aww thanks :) It looks daunting to begin with but it's simple once you get the hang of it. I'm just hoping my body adapts to it again because I have been on such low cals recently.

Good luck with your journey though, I have 11st odd to lose so I know where you are coming from. Feel free to pop back anytime :)
 
your right at the beginning it does feel like oh my god ill never do it!! but ill take one day at a time and see what comes my way!
 
Well today went a bit t*ts up. We went to town for my partners job interview. I had beef noodles which I was going to class as 2HexB's for the beef and maybe 5 syns for the sauce and 2x caramel creams at Starbucks which I was going to class as 2HexA's for the milk and 5syns for the sauce but then things didn't go to plan and my partner was in his interview for nearly 4 hours so myself and the kids were sat in the cold on a bench for nearly 4 hours till 9pm and the only place open to eat was a kebab shop so we got chips. I'm going to eat nothing else for the rest of the night unless I get really hungry and I will have fruit or some other freebie. Ah well, back to it tomorrow, plus I join group tomorrow too.
 
I forgot to post all week. Just an update to let you all know that in the 5 days prior to actually joining SW but following the plan I lost 6.2lbs. Then at weigh in on Wednesday I lost 2lbs.

Unfortunately I have lost my food diary for most of the last week but I wanted to post my plans for today. I am trying a red day. I have rarely done these so I can't even remember what I used to eat on them. This is my plan for today and would appreciate anyones point of view that does red days.

Sunday 12th September 2010

B - Ham, onion, pepper, brocolli, cheese omelette (HexA)
S - Milk for tea (HexA)
L - Chicken breast, brocolli, cauliflower, 1T gravy (3)
S - Fruit and yoghurt
D - Very lean mince, onion, garlic, oxo, 35g spaghetti (HexB)
S - 2 x alpen light (HexB)

Also would anyone say you tend to lose more weight doing more red days or green if it is at all different. I tend to stick to green days as I am a pasta/rice/potato loving girl but if it would help with losses then I am willing to stick some red days in there.

I'm so happy I lost 4.5lb this week taking me to under the 300lb mark wooo and it was star week too!!!​
 
Well I have written down the next weeks meal plans which I shall add on here as I have them and see what happens next week. I need to get at least 1.5b off this week to get my first 1/2 stone award :)
 
Well done hun, you're doing soooo well! The food diaries look good too..

I think everyone is different in regards to which they loose weight quicker with, but for me it is red days which i love as i'm a total meat eater x

Thanks. Yeah I was always a green day person but I am having a mix around although it's mainly green or EE. Hoping to lose at least 1.5lb this week to get my first 1/2st award this time round :D

Ellebear - I am loving it. So easy lol..I have done it about 6 times before but this time my head is in the game. I just need to remember to keep updating my diary on here...that was my problem before hand :p
 
hi and welcome :) i am following the ee plan but when i followed s/w a few years ago done the red days all the time i lost 18lbs in 5 weeks am finding its coming off a bit slower on ee but prefer the plan so will stick with it, good luck
