Total Solution Hi! can i still use my expired exante shakes?

Hi All

Wanted to ask that i have a months worth of exante shakes that i ordered last year..(i know..bad) and didnt start it.

so wanted to ask as i have done some research that some are saying its ok to use them since they are packaged foods which if kept in storage in a dark place should be ok to use, but some are saying its not a good idea.

anyone used expired exante shakes?

If they expired last year then no, I wouldnt use them. VLCD packs arent like 'real' food. If theyre last years then theyre at the very least 6 months out of date which means the nutrients will have deteriortated. Chances are they wont taste great either. Best thing is to bin them

I started my diet off in March with 2 weeks worth of shakes that had expired in October 2011. No adverse effects, but I would take a good vit & min supplement alongside as rather than going mouldy the vitamins will have degraded. It is your body at the end of the day - you choose what goes in it.
