Hips of doom have got to go!

Thanks both x yes I do really want it but I think I'm bored of the food & I'm not motivated at the moment to try to make an effort. It's a weird combo of desperate to co it but can't be bothered. I'm quite bored in general at the moment. Day to day is ok. Work is ok etc but it's a bit of a treadmill at the moment. Been in same job for ages which I'm finding a bit dull. I'm happy enough but need a change of some kind - me, the job, I don't know what.

I will keep trying as I thin weight loss would definitely help - and this weather really reminds me why I want to lose. It's so sweaty!!

I know you not been settled and satisfied in your job for about the last 18 months. Maybe you should start looking towards new horizons - go for something that you want to do, it might me taking a cut in pay but it might be worth it and you never know if you find something you love to do maybe the rest will all fall into place :) xxx

I had a stalkerish moment just now and saw your post about only being able to do the green day. Another vegan who was active here some time back used to have amazing losses doing red days. That might have been before SW was pushing EE so much. All you have to do is substitute the free meat replacement products for the meat items and work it from there. I tried it once and missed my rice and potatoes so very very much I didn't give it very long, but it could work for you.

Or try the EE, it seems to me that I was eating just the same as before but missing the extra HEs you get on red and green. Emphasising this third SF seems to make a big difference.

Yet another approach is the success express. That works like magic for most people. There is a thread on that here somewhere. Essentially it's having 2/3 of you meal of SF, but there are more details, look it up. Apparantly there is another version that a consultant can give if all these still aren't working for you, but I don't know anything about it and I've forgotten what its called.

Been looking and looking. Thing is some bits of my job are great. It's near home (I get up at 8!), I have a lovely quiet office of my own and a brilliant assistant, the people are great and so caring, I can do the work quite easily with not much pressure, the £s are good, so it seems frustrating I get annoyed, but it's about challenge and doing something meaningful. I will keep looking! I accept I will have to take a pay cut to do what interests me, a very big cut in fact, but happiness is worth more than Money, but again, that will really impact our lifestyle!! If something good comes up I will go for it but slim pickings at the moment.

Weird day yesterday. Am not on plan but bring sensible. Was brave and decided to go to a stitch and ***** group I saw on Facebook in a local cafe that does vintage stuff. It was nerve wracking but fine. The people weren't the friendliest and it wasn't 'a laugh' but that'll grow. It's quite a little community. I realised I could spend another night in the garden on my own or go out and try to meet a few more people (on own tonight but got some natural history soc committee stuff to do). Glad I went. I need to be a bit more sociable.

Right better go. Got wet hair and naked face and got to leave for work in 20 mins!

Have a great day xx

Ps excited about Friday w-i. It's more positive as I don't have to worry about meals out at the weekend scuppering my loss & I have time for my body to get back to normal if I do go out.

What a day! Up & went to post office to send Father's Day pressie then to get petrol then to work. I foolishly offered to do a colleague a favour and cover a meeting for her - in Kent. Only the next county but m25 and qe2 bridge in the way. There it took 2 hours then meetings, then 3 hours home. Bad accident 20 miles from home so took a detour. Sat in that sweaty car for 5 hours. Eat light though. Salads. Home and did 30 mins treadmill then flopped on sofa and watched spring watch. Am soooooo sleepy so trying an early night for size. Will report on weigh in.

Weigh after 4 days and... 2 off! Hooray for Friday weigh in!! Yes 2 down so heading in the right direction. I haven't been on plan. I have been having a salad mixed with some of the 2 for £3 mini salads from m&s for lunch & dinner - plus been having dinner early. Also been on treadmill and walking to town nearly every day. Will be back on proper plan after I've been shopping (tonight I think). Good news to start the best day of the week!!!

Great news. What a genius that Lisa is. If you have lost weight and not been following the SW plan it looks like you are doing something right by instinct now. With that sort of news you should be inspired. Well done you!

Thanks! Going in the right direction and aiming for 1.5 this week. Boy am I hot. This weather is not my choice I have to say. I love a sunny cool day - 65 degrees say. This is too much for me! Trying decide whether I can handle spain in October.

Bought another dress. Slightly too small (I reckon 10lbs off needed) but so discounted and have wanted it for ages. Of the others I bought in 16, I have worn one but the other way too tight for work. I should return this dress but they don't do an 18. I could do with the £s as need to buy a dress for d's office do garden party on 5th July eek!

So here it is, it's for work... Keep or return?...

I also would love this cat one but it's too pricey...

And I do think a maxi is the way forward for a summer do so I'm less self conscious. The search begins.

I think keep. It looks nice and cool for work. You should treat yourself to the other one though it's so pretty. :)

I love it but it's £85!!! I've got 20% off voucher but even so ouch! Can't afford this month but do get a bonus in July so if it's meant to be it'll still be there end July and I will be a proper size 16 and it'll be reduced - now that'd be fate on my side.

On plan today, whatever next!

Oaty brekkie
Sour fruit mix from Asda

Been to Nans to find her phone, went to b&q (exciting eh?) and tried to see some butterflies but too cold and windy so home to work on the garden and make some stuff for my stall and open garden. Scary!!!

Made lunch last night so had on plan brekkie and lunch then went off plan for dins (gnocchi). Just couldn't be bothered as I had to do some stuff for natural history soc and wasn't finished til 9. Also it's tom so I am bit all over the place - want to gorge but know I will feel guilty so don't then feel frustrated, want to eat etcetcetc .. Saying that - I am still trying! Sticking yo plan as much as I can and it'll build up to 100% over a few days I hope. Open garden Sunday so bought some plants at lunchtime to fill some gaps and pots. Have an army of cake makers ready. Lots to do still but garden will be spices and span by Sunday. Will take a pic. Actually here is my latest bloom:

Tonight we drove around some local villages checking out some houses & deciding whether to view them (not sure about them but as I got ready for bed in the bathroom just now my neighbour made the loudest retching/coughing sound. It was hideous and I can still hear him in bed clearing his throat. His coughing, sneezing, sniffing etc really grate I can tell you. Couple that with the ear splitting squealing and screaming of their children (never told off) and I know I will need to move sometime). So may view may not we shall see! Came home did nat soc stuff and then did some crochet as said I'd sell some at the open garden and now--- bed --- aaaaaaaaaah.........nightie night my lovelies x

You sound busy! I tend to think of you as non-stop Mal. I'd missed about you thinking of moving, have fun looking at houses if you do. It sounds as though you are doing brilliantly resisting the urge to gorge whilt on tom. I'd forgotten that, the feelings it gives in the tummy feel like hunger don't they.

Here's wishing for lots of sunshine for you for the Open Garden day, lots of strength regarding the army of cake makers and their products. Lots of piccies please, of your garden at its best, not just one flower, lovely as it is ;)

I love the plant although it did remind me of something and now I can't unthink it :D
I agree with Micci you are a busy bee, you put me to shame actually!. I used to be like that when my mum was alive, would moan that there wasn't enough hours in the day would fall into bed at night totally knackered. Now I moan there's too many hours in the day and get into bed at night knowing I'm gonna be wide awake for hours.....I NEED A LIFE!! lol ;)

I feel for you about the house noise. Our other house used to be like that in fact you could hear them physically going to the toilet (1's and 2's). It's very quiet where we are now - terraced houses that withstood WW2 so you don't hear anything from anyone.

You're doing really well on plan considering it was only a week ago you where struggling with getting your head back in the game.....go girl!!! :) :) :) x

Yes it's a very phallic plant and that's why I love it - lasts for 2 days which is pretty good haha!!!!

I know I seem busty (haha left this autocorrect as it amused me) - busy, but I am involved in a lot of stuff while not necessarily doing a lot of it. Had a committee meet tonight but it's just 2 hours in town talking about nature stuff. Open garden is only 5 hours Sunday then it's done. Butterfly conservation stuff is 3 times a year, garden meetings, once every 2 months: so you see, it's lots of little things that aren't too time sapping while seeming like a lot. Recently it has been more hectic as there have been events to get ready for (bug hotel, open gardens), but by next weekend they're done and I can do fun stuff (see x men at cinema, got a party on 6 July and going on disco boat in August, mums birthday in Surrey and doing a stall with my sister). Nice relaxing stuff just round the corner. If the weather gets warm again I see lots of evenings in the garden in my future!! Don't forget - I have no children and don't underestimate the difference that makes. Also I'm really just doing my hours at work at the mo so I'm home by 6 at the latest (don't get in til 9.30). My house is so messy too (I just don't tidy) & I do watch lots of sport so it's not all rushing around doing stuff - managed to crochet a couple of bits so I do have sit down time!!

Food was oaty brekkie with strawbs, apples, bamana.
Lunch was eggs, chunky salad, pasta, chilli sauce. Fruit salad. Plums.
Dinner was just 2 peppered steak and some Nutella in 2% total. Also had a few handfuls of cereal, a fruit polo (yes just one strangely) and 2 Allen lights so over syns but could eat for England at the moment.

Will send some pics of it all ready for it's showing. Keep buying plants - it's an obsession! I will enjoy the viewings although they are always rather uncomfy aren't they? I say all the time 'oh that's a nice size(no comments Lisa!!), oh lovely light etc. things I would never usually say!! Three in total booked to see. Will report back.

Food looks good!! :) you still sound busy!. I've got 2 teenagers who I hardly see and if it wasn't for the mess and the food disappearing I'd wonder where they are. I suppose I do a lot of cleaning really with them 2 and 6 cats. I basically plod along and have a routine through the week so everything gets done. Ours is a bit of a Victorian relationship lol he works I do everything else. But to be fair when I worked and he was at home he did everything else....it works for us and since my mum passed I kinda do it a little slower because I've nothing or no one to rush about for :) I'm lucky really xx
