I've been taking them since week one and am now down over 60lbs so no problems there.
Start with two a day and see if you get a bit more regular. Wait a few days before you up the dosage. Remember to drink an extra 250mls of water with them. These work by drawing water from you body into the bowel and then swell up into a glutinous mass that helps your bowels move.
Also remember that you will only "go" every couple of days as your body has no solids to digest.

I only take the psyllium husks as these keep me regular enough and I never feel bloated or uncomfortable. By tablets I presume you mean senokot etc. No, I don't take them as I have not been constipated. These are laxatives and you should only need these if you have been bunged up for days.
Don't worry about whether you go every day or every other day as long as you don't feel constipated and uncomfortable. Some people will still go every day and others will go every few days. Everyone will be a bit different.
In fact, the point in taking fibre supplements is to encourage the bowel to keep working so as to avoid what is called a "lazy bowel". We need it to be in good working order for when we go back on regular food!!!!

I'm just really worried because my weight has been well and truly at 13stone 3 for the last week or two and i have not cheated at all. I am just gutted.

I have 'been' very small amounts once in last 3 days since taking a mixture of dulcoflax, senokot (only day 1) and fibresure last night (4) and then 2 this morning.

Just keep taking the fibresure every single day. Unless you are all bloated and in pain from constipation do not keep taking laxatives.
Up your water intake to about 3 to 4 litres a day. The weight will come off in its own time. Don't stress about it. You may find next week that you have a big loss. It all balances out over the weeks.
