how do you lose 2 thirds of your self?

lo, the salmon was a birds eye one i just bunged it in the oven:8855:
i read on here it was free on red and EE but didn't really believe it, bought it expecting it to have a couple of syns ,was pleasently surprised when i looked it up and found out it was really free:D
It was really tasty, I am not really a fishy person i have to be in the right mood but i am trying to eat more, at least once a week as i change my eating habits .
i think i will buy zumba when hubby gets paid:D so we will all be at it lol xx

well i have had a busy old day today, been out to visit my grandad and managed to walk round the little farm shop we usually buy our fruit and veg from (not really hard cos it is just a little shop :))
so lots of nice veggies and fruit in the fridge now :D
home again and cooked a big sunday lunch, used some syns for it but have stayed within my limit :D
was going to make an eton mess for dessert but was to full to need one

Ok who copied who then cos today's dinner for me was ...Roast gammon, Roast potatoes, Savoy Cabbage, Carrots, Mashed Swede (with black pepper) and Roast Celeriac ...GMTA hun lol
Hope you're having a great day
I used to do the same with the liquids but I have now trained myself to get a glass, usually a pint glass with loads of ice, with every meal and snack, you'll soon get into the habit once you set your mind to it xx

lol at the spooky sameness! Is it the call of the zumba making all eat the same? lol I would have liked a roast dinner today but I settled for potato skins and salad instead :)

Hehe Mandy, I forget that not everyone wants to spend hours in the kitchen everyday making things from scratch like me  I think I'm overdoing it atm, not seeing much of the OH and son even though we're all in the house I spend half of everyday in the kitchen, and I'm only cooking for me

I'll look out for the salmon for a quick option for next week, might even try the fish week challenge next week since there's one meal sorted :D

lily,:479:i actually intended to take out the gammon :8855::8855:
never tried celeriac whats it like ? never sure i fancy it.

lo i am always impressed by all the cooking from scratch you and lily do, i am doing far more than i used too:eek:
I have dug the slow cooker out today and have a beef goulash on the way:D have to say it smells lovely and i am quite looking forward to it.
I have teen under my feet today, must be the first time in about 6 weeks he has stayed in all day ,boy does he have stange eating habits he has just had noodle wraps:eek::confused::eek:
althougth he is joining us tonight and having the goulash:D
think i might do it with some boiled rice don't need to worry about the 1/3sf cos it is full of peppers mushrooms etc

meal plan for today:
B banana.

L gammon, tomatoes 3 slices of ww danish (hexb) tsp sandwich pickle (2 syns) mango phili light (hexa)

T beef goulash, boiled rice, eton mess (2.5 syns)

Get more breakfast down you! :whip: lol

The cooking lark keeps the healthy eating enthusiam going I find. Mmnn goulash, mmmn beef! lol I don't know if I can do a fish week next as I keep going ahhhhh at everyone's meaty meals though I'm enjoying the green food. Six days in a row so far though and four more to go after today, feels very odd as I'm not having meat/fish as hexs (self-imposed extra green challenge rule!).

Are you not tempted to have more chips from the actifry? I think I'd probably be on potato all week when I get round to buying one :D

Hi hun, I was a bit peeved when he said he'd got out the wrong meat, even thought with him being Mr Nasty last few days, it might have been deliberate..but I'm glad he did as it was delicious and even more delicious tonight when DD2 used the leftovers in her Leek Lasagne, didn't fancy that but it was to die for lol
Celeriac, I roasted it, cut into chips, a little paprika sprinkled over the top and sprayed with Fry Light...1st time in years I have had them and didn't like them then, but I was pleasantly surprised as they actually tasted a lot like roast parsnip which I love and it was so much cheaper than the Parsnips, will definitely being having it again.
Like Lo...I cook the different meals to keep the enthusiasm going, I love trying new things and get bored eating the same things over and over

And I'm with Lo here, you MUST eat more for brekkie, sets you up for the day and kick starts your metabolism xx

Hope y'doing alright chuck x

I've ordered the zumba for the wii, hoping it'll turn up by the weekend. Davina isn't enticing me much this week with the horrible rain!

had a really busy day yesterday, as had to go to the collage with teen to discuss his options for this yr:confused:
not to bad a meeting and even thougth he didn't do as well in the AS levels they are still willing to pridict him the grades he needs for his 1st choice uni:)
a great big kick up the bum was needed:asskick:i probably sound like the mother from hell but i am just trying to get him to reach his potential:D.
ended up with a bit of a funny day food wise as lots of stress and waiting round ,i struggled a bit and had a few more syns than normal so will have to try harder today:eek:

L ham, crispbreads and flora buttery (3 syns) (hexb)

T chinese take away, hot and sour soup (5 syns) chicken and mushroom (5 syns)
boiled rice.

oh well it could have been worse :sigh:
i stayed within the 15 syns and i will just have to chalk it up to stress if it effects my wi this week xx

Hi Mandy,
Yesterday looks fine to me, I regularly have between 10 and 13 syns a day, I used to stick to just about 5 a day when i first started SW, and initially had huge losses, but then they stopped and I was finding it hard to lose anything, so after reading Squiddies thread on here that outlines how SW works, I decided to take her advice and eat more, 10+ everyday and other than the odd blip, I have had much better losses regularly of 2-3lb on the weeks that I maintain those amounts of syns and 0.5-1lb when I don't (or even the odd unexplained gain)...the more you eat (healthy foods obviously) the more it makes your metabolism work...I couldn't live on 3 meals a day, I have 6 or more smaller meals and it works for me (I know it's not the same for everyone), it's well worth trying it to see xx

ok meals sorted out for today now,

B greek yog , honey (2 syns) and Rasberries

L sw mush, pepper and onion quiche with one potato worth of actifry chips pickled gherkin and onions :D

T home made chicken kiev (cheese as hexa, breadcrumbs wholemeal hm as hexb), with bns wedges and baby sweetcorn and green beans.

stawberries and melon as snacks

very picky today, but have limited it to strawberries and melon :D

now i am in planning mode for tomorrow have quiche left over and might make a carrot and corriandor soup. tea at parents as always on a thurs mum wants me to take the actifry so she can decided if she wants one :D:D

I made the carrot and coriander soup that Crumble put on her diary and it's yummy :)

You don't sound like the mother from hell just cos you're trying to encourage your son to achieve his goals. I told mine when they moaned about school, college, uni work that it was a small amount of time out of their lives now that they had to cut back on the having fun and work hard to get the results they needed. Or they could just socialise and have fun now and work hard for the rest of their lives and not earn much so not be able to afford to socialise.

Mmn, chicken kiev :eat: One for me next week methinks lol

Don't be afraid of the syns hehe maybe try having a higher syn week and see how it works out for you :)

Good stuff that you went along to sort you son out with college - they'd never do it for themselves (I didn't and stoped at A/S levels ) and I'm sure he'll be thanking you for the support when he's older.

Can't wait to hear how you've done this week at your WI tomorrow. Did your daughter get started on the SW plan aswell? x

almost word for word to what i have said this week tilly:D
he is taking physics maths and electonics plus an extended project so he really needs to buckle down. i do feel mean sometimes and i am sure his high school teachers thought i was mumzilla:D:D
he needs AAB but pulled a c on his as level maths, he is lucky the collage are still willing to predict him the B:rolleyes:
hopefully he understands now where i am coming from:sigh:
distracted me from obsessing over dieting thougth :)

yeah 4lb off for me this week :happy036:
rather pleased with that :D:D
right need 2 this week for that 2 st

lo and lily i am going to risk it and keep the syns higher plus the zumba so heres hoping:fingerscrossed:

:woohoo: Fan-bloody-tastic, you are amazing!! :D
I normally eat 6+ meals a day hun, 3 full meals , breakfast, lunch, dinner and then 3 or more little snacks ...keeps the metabolism from taking a nap lol.
Good luck for your 2 st award although I don't doubt for one second that you'll get it xxx

been stiched up today which resulted in a bit of a panic and resorting to meds to regain control:cry:
but i am over it, parents decided to switch supermarkets on me and i bumped in to someone i work with, i just went to pieces luckily enougth my dad was there to rescue me:( its sooooooooooo frustrating
