how do you lose 2 thirds of your self?

one last recipe so i can find it when doing it again :D

1 large red pepper
2 sweet potatoes
1 onion
pinch paprika
pinch chilli powder
clove of garlic
2 veg stock cubes
water
salt and pepper to taste

chop veg
fry onion in fry light till softens add all other ingredients
bring to boil then simmer till veg soft
blend till nice and smooth

adjust water depending on what consistancy you want your soup.

it has a lovely creamy texture for some reason i found, and you could make it as spicy as you like with the chilli powder.

taking this to work tomorrow and i have been asked to bring some in for a friend to try :eek:

oh my gosh i took some night nurse last night :eek:
and she must have been called beverly :eek::eek::eek:
it made me feel sooooooooooo ill this morning :confused:

i went to the gym managed half an hour and then went back to bed for 2 hours before work:confused::confused:

i felt sick, dizzy and totally lathargic never again :eek::eek::eek::eek:

gone back to the whisky tonight (just 1 ) :D:D cos got to get up at 5.45 am:cry::cry::cry:

Night Nurse did the same to me years ago Mandy - never touched the stuff since. Infact I don't touch anything at all now since Lemsip did exactly the same thing to me aswell! lol

Luckily I'm very rarely ill...

hey every body :D:D:D

hope you have had a good weekend,
feeling much better today, slept well, really good if not busy, early at work, then went to visit grandad. hubby had cooked tea, a beef casserole with potato rosti and mixed veg, definetly testing his wings now :D
think my little tantrum in the week may have had a little effect. still no tidying up, but tea cooked :D

couple of days off now, should have been annual leave but going to work some of it as staffing is so bad, so bad they are paying us overtime :D:eek: unheard of in the nhs :confused:

lots of time to catchup tomorrow :D:D:D:D
 
morning all :D

up early and off to the gym, new focus this week. feeling positive and stress free

i will lose 7lb by the end of the month !!!!!!

only working 4 shifts in the next 2 weeks so i can focus on me for a while

back in a bit to catch up :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

ok now for positives, jackie has inspired me today:D

I have a wonderful family and lots of mini friends

I feel positive energised and stress free today

I have enjoyed the gym and walking the dog this morning

have arranged to have lunch with a friend next monday and this time will not get cold feet

have all the meals planned for this week around the veg box that arrived this morning

due to my short working week i will have loads of time to visit minimins and keep up with every one

leeks,celery,chard,swede,onions,sante potatoes,red pepper and carrots :D

so meals for the week

mon - sheperds pie with celeriac topping
tues- chicken wrapped in bacon with roast potatoes, sauted chard and carrots
weds- pork chops with swede chips and steamed leeks
thurs tea at mums
fri-beef goulash, using red pepper, onions, celery
sat-sausage egg and chips
sun left over soup for weekday lunches :D:D:D:D
