    Hi all

I don't write very often on here, but read people's posts everyday. I started Cambridge 24-2-14 and as of Wednesday have lost 3 stone 2 pounds. So although this is great, I feel my will power has taken a dive in the last few weeks, incidentally I have lost much less in the past 3 weeks. I have cheated several times. And as I sit here, I just ate a bowl of cereal. I don't know why! I have since tossed the box of cereal away. But I'm just wondering if this has happened to anyone else?I've never had this level of success on a diet, and I have at least another few stone to lose. Since my first cheat, all I can do is think of food! I'm so worried that I can't get back to being 100%. Any words of advice/wisdom are greatly appreciated!

I think there's always a time when weight loss slows down and it's really hard to stay motivated if you're eating so few calories. I had a slow period but the weight loss then speeded up after a month. Why don't you try a week on SS+ or step 2? A step up sometimes boosts weight loss and will give you a few extra calories and a bit of variety. Don't give up at this stage as you've done really well. You've just had a minor blip - maybe do a little more exercise tomorrow to rid yourself of the carbs - good luck!

Thanks for your reply. I think you're right, you have a blip, fine. Just move on. I will do my best, because as you said I've come too far. In so many ways this is both the easiest and hardest diet ever!

Thanks again and good luck to you too! x

you cant control the past, only the present and the future. so keep motivated by the clothes you want to wear and how you want to feel in your new body when you've got to goal! :)

Thanks for your reply. It's true I can't undo what I've done. So best to move on and keep my eye on the prize.

    Thank you
