How long should my soup stay good?

    If I keep it in the fridge...

    It's got home-made chicken stock, bits of chicken, bits of gammon, carrots, onions, leeks, parsnips, leeks & cauliflour in it.

    I usually use mine within a 2-3 days, but mine has no meat. You can freeze soup...I do it all the time, so if you've made a lot you might want to do that instead.

    Mine has no meat either but made one last monday eve and ate it all week even sat night! So i guess it just depends whats in it? Mine was carrot, pepper, celery and chilli.

    I'd say no more than 72 hours in the fridge - just decant it and freeze.

    If you make sure to bring it to a rolling boil everyday you can keep on using it. Bacteria never gets a chance to form so stays fresh.
