How to lose half your body weight in 10 days (Or a bit longer!)

I think thats a FAB NSV go you - ive never thought about it to be honest lol

Mine are 23 and 27 and still have mummy feed me lol - well son does and daughter just rings and asks what you making tonight? is there any spare haha im so soft I give in and make extra so its like feeding 5 sometimes and not 3 - no wonder my shopping money doesnt last

Thanks hun, it is nice to think I need not fear my arse or stomach flallopping in someone else's dinner in my bid to leave a restaurant!

Just had Nate laughing at my skipping and dancing on our way to see the quails and then we played being a plane. Amusingly his cat and plane are very similar so we went to pet the stone cat too. Then he helped do a few jobs in the kitchen and when we were done I asked him if he wanted to help clean the lounge or go to bed for a nap. He pointed upstairs. Bless him. Oh, and today he learnt to walk downstairs without holding my hand! I was right in front with my arm held out but he was all "nah, I've got this mum"

lol at your kids, at least you don't have to spoon it in. Haha.

Guess who forgot to soak her oats for magic pancakes? Yep. Silly me. I've put some to soak now should i want them this evening, if not they can do for another morning.

Menu is written, as is shopping list and it's been handed over. They're off to seaton to get mum's biopsy results and doing the shopping while they are there. It'll be nice to know what it is on her hand as even the Dr didn't know. We are pretty practical in our family and we think it is the big old c-word (no, not that, that hasn't grown on her hand!) But she's very practical and it will be dealt with and probably become an amusing story like her bleeding to death.... From her nose. We are the typical mental family where the tragic becomes the rediculous.

So today was fruit and yogurt for breakfast. I have some chicken thighs that need de-skin-ing and roasting off and I will do salad and pickles with it, and maybe a heb roll and hea cheese. Yes, I am attempting a red day. Tea is lamb steak with Swede mash, broccoli and an attempt at creamed spinach seen as though there is some needing using in the fridge. Debating making the mash into a Swede and carrot one... My other hea is 250ml semi skimmed milk, all measured out and I will have a heb left over.

I finished yesterday on 2 syns and I just need to decide how I am doing the lamb to work out syns for today. It was going to be mustard lamb....

Have you tried microwaving the swede for mash? It's so much easier! Just ping for like 12 minutes (turning Halfway through) and done! Cut open, scoop out and voila! I do it with carrot in and cheat on that too - can of sliced carrots, ping 'em and mash into the swede, so easy!

Hope everything turns out ok for your mum and have a lovely day! Xx

thanks hun, we dont know what it is yet other than "a thing" so it is just wait and see.

the swede thing is tops! I have a fear of microwave cooking. I've set two on fire, so I might wimp out of doing that just yet! I guess it is a good job I can cook because I will do most things to avoid the microwave! I really want to try it though... ooh!

currently munching my giant lunch. nom pickles, nom beetroot

how's your day going? Good luck for WI :)

I've just spent the last few hours reading this, congratulations on all of your losses, I'm starting class again tonight, and hopefully I can have the same amount of success as you :) As for the pancakes, I tried making SW ones with just eggs, vanilla and sweetener this morning, but I wish I'd read this before. Those oat ones sound lush, and I think we've got a bag in the cupboard somewhere! xx

Ooh good news on the rat paw! I had a growth on my knee years ago that no one could work out what it was. It subsided again, but it's still a bit like scar tissue and it never tans. My cousin had some in her mouth but it turned out it was a fluoride overdose from her toothpaste!

Good luck for rejoining tonight katrina :) I'm sure you will have huge successes. And hopefully you can see from me you dont need big losses to lose a big amount :) touched you bothered reading my ramblings! This is so I don't bore everyone to death about fooooood. I love food. The magic pancakes are yummy and extremely filling, you probably remember oats are a healthy extra so you must measure them. It is also my reason for not sharing... I need to have all my healthy extra! Muahaha. My son gets his own pancakes (which he calls cake, same as tea cake) leading people to think I give my son cake for breakfast. Slimming world has taught me I would rather have a tiny slither of proper cake than a huge amount that simply tastes of sweet egg. Before it was a huge slab of proper cake until the whole thing was gone. Urge people are fans of the sweet egg fake cake. So with this rejoin, work out what works for you, what you want and what you enjoy and go from there :) then I'm sure you will be at Target before you know it :)

Oh err, well I don't think she has been rubbing toothpaste on it. Tee hee. It'd just be nice to know what it is. But not cancerous or pre-cancerous is more than good enough for us. Glad my family isn't the only nutty one.

Supersize vs superskinny is on tonight. Hurrah, and obsessive compulsive cleaners tomorrow. Excitement.

Oh, I went for cumin seeds, crushed garlic and yogurt on the lamb frylight fried for 2 minutes each side. Plonked on top of mashed swede and carrots with broccoli and cauliflower. Bloody lovely. Ended up not doing the spinach considering all the other superfree! Still got the rest of my milk, and a heb left this evening and today has been a synfree red day delight! Woop Woop. Let's hope the gain isn't more than 1lb tomorrow! Note to self, try not to use 1 weeks worth of syns in 3 days. Haha.

Im glad its nothing serious with your mum Fran - still a puzzle though lol. If the experts dont know what chance do we stand eh lol.

Im watching supersize v superskinny too haha

Dinner sounds lovely! Really good. We never have lamb :( OH doesn't like. Boo!
Does Nate eat it?? My nephew (nearly 5) literally would eat anything you put in front of him whereas some kiddies are right fussy *******.

Supersize vs superskinny is great - unfortunately that's a catch up special for me xx

I'll be catching up later, not watched it yet.

I'm amazed Brit, I was surprised my friend was offered to be put on the gastric waiting list. No Dr ever told me to lose weight. Ever. I had to go to the GP and say "I've heard you do SW referrals, can you refer me please?" Which is good, because it meant I wanted to do it and was ready to do it too. To have a mobile one sounds like madness. Maybe they should put more money in mental health, short cut the need for major surgery and all it's after care.

Not daring to hope for a loss after my naughty 3 days. glad I had my 9 syns today though, very satisfied. aiming for a 100% week this week, looks like i'm not going to Exeter on Friday, and M&D got the M&S meal so might green day it up on Friday, extra healthy extras, don't mind if I do. the chocolate heart puddings that are in the adverts? over 300 cals.. i think it is 325 cals... or 16.5 syns. pfft. Right that was a bit rambled. basically, not going to exeter, M&D did a ***** job with the food shop and didn't buy most of it and got an M&S meal for two.... so I can fill myself silly on green and ignore them.

Minky, he struggles with meat, wafer ham is all good, and he loves fish (just remembered I chucked two pieces of salmon reduced to £1 in the freezer straight from the shop the other day - awesome), he had some chicken earlier, he likes slow cooked lamb and beef because it is easier to eat. I cooked him up some egg that I promised him earlier, he always prefers the food on my plate. Goes a bit crazy for swede, but did he want the swede and carrots on his plate? NO! He wanted mummy's, which was exactly the same. nutter. He goes through fussy phases. Yesterday he wouldn't eat lunch or dinner and he was not given his post dinner yogurt or any alternative, he was just going to have to be hungry. Oh and he didn't wake up in the night, good because I didn't make the sandwich. Today everything got eaten. If I make curry I make something else for him due to I like it HOT, but mostly he has what we have.
