How to say "Thank You"???

I have noticed on profiles there is a section which records thank you's given and received on posts. I have also noticed them on individual threads.

Question......... How do I do this as I can't seem to find instructions on the forum (in case you haven't guessed, not used to forums).

At the bottom of the posts there is a quote button and a thanks button. It wouldn't have been there until you had 50 posts though so you can probably see them now

Thanks from me too, eternity. But why does it say 'Remove Your Thanks' on the next line, and leave it there???

I've just pressed it to THANK someone - why on earth would I want to remove it immediately, or at a later stage???

Really puts me off using the button! Sorry if this is being very, very thick - I've still got loads to learn!!!

I don't know Roz, I've never used that remove your thanks button. Perhaps it's just there 'incase'???
