i don't know much at akll about ketosis but i can't imagine you knock yourself out of it by drinking.

How much are you drinking? I think there's conflicting advice from LT/pharmacies out there. Have heard on here people say you shuoldn't be drinking more than 4litres a day, but whether or not that includes shakes i don't know.

WEll done anyway for not caving!!!

I got days like that too when I was on tfr but thank God they wernt too often. I usually found if you battle through it and distract yourself in some way the next day was like a fresh start and I usually felt far more positive . I think a lot of it is down to hormones and TOTM .

I am losing the will to live, why am I so hungry, this is week 3 and I am starving.

I was drinking too much so cut it back to 2 litres of water, 4 - 6 black tea / coffee etc

I dip my urine this morning and didnt seem to be in ketosis either.

I am also having 'cravings'... Kids sour jellies, lunch wraps today too. I dropped my water yesterday and think this might be the key. Prior to my surgery on Tuesday I was drinking 4.5l a day. Since then its been around 2l, yesterday I slept a lot and think it was prob more like 1.75l plus I had my last shake at 11pm...

Trying to increase my fluid to 3l today as I also dont want to risk a kidney/bladder infection.

yeah Maybe I dropped my water too far yesterday :(

I see my surgeon for a gall stone op next week so likely I will have to re feed soon (yay) altho wanted to get to 12 1/2 stone before that happens

I do admire people who have been on this for months, I really don't know how you do it

Hi Colette,
sorry you were having a craving day, but if you were hungry then it may have been your drop in water intake. I know I don't have a lot of tea, only one small pot of peppermint most days (2 cups) but I drink at least 4 litres most days, have to or I feel thirsty and I have never felt hungry on this except for the times where I didn't drink enough or missed a shake.

I was drinking around 5.5 litres a day so that was why I dropped it and the scales weren't moving, but today I have upped it again, and am still starving. I really can't see my making it past today :cry:

Man this is difficult :(

we women are made of strong stuff, I believe you will make it past today, now all you have to do is the same. Visualise it, see yourself tomorrow coming on here saying, "hey, do you know what, I licked it, I didn't give in, it was tough but it's over" Imagine that feeling of control and pride as you face a much easier day tomorrow.
Is it too early for you to have a shake or a flapjack? I know I feel full after making a shake with loads of ice and drink it through a straw. If you have it early and worry about later then plan a relaxing evening (If you can), do all the things you don't give yourself time for, try on some clothes, chuck out the old ones if they're got too big, do your nails, pedicure, anything and after that you should feel tired enough to sleep. Tomorrow is another day and it will be better, just you see, but if you eat now, you will never know, will you???

oops I had a mini cave, I had half a tea spoon of marmite if that :mad:

I have decided I am going on re feed on Tuesday, not just cos of this, but I see my surgeon on Weds for my op as well

I shall re feed then continue with rosemary conely diet for now

I am weak lol

you are not weak, you have lost 4 stone, weak women don't do that !!! You have made a decision and here's hoping it's the right one. Good luck to you next week.

I caved in, told you I was weak lol had a WW pizza, small one and some WW dough balls

Just hope I haven't done too much damage before I refeed, which might as well start tomorrow now :mad:
