I am back and so so so happy!

Hehe I definitely remember you too lady! I'm still on CWP but ive literally got 6lbs to go gawd I remember when I was excited about having 6 stone to go lol! I so need to give shred a go i love jillian!!! I've started to weights now that a gym instructor will actually look and talk to me like a human being now I'm no longer obese! And after two weeks there already a difference! The difference in how people treat you when your smaller is something in still not able to get used to! I don't even think some realise they're doing it!

How much does shred kill you?

6lbs is nothing :D

I so get what you mean about people treating your differently. I'm still overweight so I haven't experienced it from strangers yet, but family and friends have been different around me now that I'm slimmer. It's unfair though, I'm the same person as I was before!

The Shred should be easy for you. It's a bit painful the first few days of each level as your body gets used to it but if I can do it, you can too. If anything, the hardest aspect of it is that it is rather repetitive after a few days and therefore a little boring. But it works :)

Wow, look at you going to the gym and all! I bet you're stunning now :)

I know but I feel like I'm dragging heels to goal I had what could only be described as a mini life without Cambridge product break down as I got nervous about the real world if food with no products... Until my CDC told me some if her at goal/ maintaining clients still see her for a product or two a day if they fancy then I calmed down lol!

I'm going to go out and get my that shred DVD! There's nothing like the sun being out to motivate you is there! I wouldn't say I look stunning but other people do tell me 'woah you're so skinny!' But the mind does take a while to catch up.. I still can't mentally get my head around picking up a 12 and it fitting loosely, I look at 10s and tell my sister that won't fit and she grumbled just try it many a time it fits! I feel like I'm in a fat persons dream and its not real some days! That ill wake up and still be that fat miserable blob crying in the mirror like I was literally this time last year!

Anyway speaking of stunning miss bookworm I recall a certain person posting a picture of them looking über stunning in a mini denim skirt :D and I refused to believe you then how far off from goal you were! I guess we're our own worst critics as we know we're getting smaller but just not understanding how much smaller lol! All I know is my ultimate fat dream of being able to go out and bare my arms is looking like a reality!

We're going to be thin for summer!! I just know it!

I worry too about life after CWP. Please, when you're at goal, do keep posting because I really would like to know more from someone who's experienced it.

You can get the Shred on amazon for peanuts. Or it's even on Youtube if you want to check it out first. It can't hurt anyway and it's a nice way to keep toning up without spending hours at the gym (which I hate :D )

And as for for not seeing your body as slim as others see it, I can relate too. I'm still overweight though so when people tell me I look good, I can't believe them because I still want to lose at least 2 stones! It's huge! And I am so so so glad you can fit in a size 10 at 5'11": I have been telling some people I wanted to be at most a size 12 but everyone has been telling me I shouldn't do it as I'd look sick, or that I wouldn't be able to maintain it. It's been bugging me lately. And I can't wait to pick a size 10 (or even 12!) jeans! I have a size 12 dress (from Asda, so it's really a 14 in normal shops) and I still can't believe I fit in it. I was washing and ironing it today and I had to try it on to be sure that it still fitted. How weird...

Oh yes, the denim skirt :D It's far too big now and has been given to the charity shop :D I think my blessing is that I have a 'tiny' (by comparison) top half and my lower legs are quite small too. But my thighs and bum *sigh*

And yay for bare arms! You know I had my husband take a pic of me with bare arms before I agreed to go out sleeveless? And even then, I felt too self-conscious and had to put something on after a while. I thought everyone was looking at my bingo wings or other imagined things... But really, they do look normal, especially after the Shred and its evil planks and push ups and things! Have you struggled with going out with bare arms too? Do you, like me, keep checking your reflection in shop windows to be sure that you don't look too fat? Or am I just weird ;)

No definitely! I wish there were more people who'd maintained to stay on here as I'm convinced the first solid carb I eat that I'll go into full Hogg pig out mode! I know it's crazy but I can't help it lol! Least hopefully ill be able to confirm that no you won't whack a stone on with one potato or some rice or a slice of bread :D

I never dreamt of going below a 14 as like you I had people telling me that coz I'm tall I'd look really slim in 14, that anything below and is look ill well shows that they know I'm a more than comfy 12 and depending on which shop I can get into a size 10 and I'm happy to say that I do not look not feel ill for it in any way shape or form!!! I don't know if its genuine concern or something else as when people say oh

'you look great but stop now!' They don't know what's lurking underneath the clothes lol! I'm with you on the small til half ive got no bobs what so ever which probably helps show off my loss a bit more! I've got some great shirts I love but had to give them away as no amount of punning them back would rescue them gah mrs money penny on superscrimpers would have my guts for garters lol!

You are definitely not weird as I catch myself looking in shop windows all the time! honestly this body just doesn't reel like its mine! Like its on loan from somewhere, I get a re months of happiness before I have to hand it over lol!

Still some work on the front though... SHRED to the rescue though :D

Wow shazzy shaz you look amazing - what an inspiration. Bookworm - photos??? ...please. I need something to kerp me focused and motivated.

Wow Shazz, you look amazing!!!!! Definitely another thinspiration for me! How can people say you're a lollipop head? It looks to me like you're just a naturally slim person. Don't listen to them, honestly, there is no protruding bones like there would be if you were too skinny. Some people must be so jealous, lol.

And glad to hear I'm not the only one looking at myself in shop windows :D Like you, I always feel like it's not me... In fact I now have trouble seeing my thinner self and photos do not help at all. Admittedly, I still have 2st AT LEAST to lose so it is probably why. I'm still fat so I'll keep being hard on myself because of that.

Bessy, you can look at my BEFORE and AFTER pictures from the last time on this thread:
http://www.minimins.com/cd-inspirational-photos/290833-after-20-weeks-step-2-updated-new-pics.html

Unfortunately, I don't think I have usable pictures of me right now but I'm very close to my current weight in the green dress (3rd picture). What a mammoth I used to be. How could I move with that added padding? I do not know... That alone is a good deterrent to keep up the good work.

Talking of good work... Well yesterday, I caved in a little  We had an impromptu light super at my step-mum-in-law's and I had cheese with a few mouthfuls of bread :( I'm not proud of it, trust me, but what I'm proud of is the fact that I said no to a nice little white wine and the chocolate cake for dessert! Because it wasn't planned, we went there without any bars or my water as we weren't supposed to stay for long. I was starving as it was 6.30pm when supper was served. Oh well, as I always say, it's only food and we have to live sometimes. I'm just a bit annoyed that it happened so soon after my week off.

Bessie, how are doing?

So, I have just performed my weekly WI this morning and *drum rolls*, I have lost 6lbs since my WI on Thursday after my holidays :D

Not only have I lost my holiday weight but I am also 1lb lighter than I was before going away. For people worrying about weight gain while on holidays: if you go back on the diet straight away once you're back, you'll lose this weight pretty quickly. It might even give you and your body the boost you need to "start afresh".

You'll notice that I have also taken the rather bad habit of weighing myself every morning. Not something I'd advise, although I've almost always registered a small loss (or STS). THe problem is, sometimes, we STS for days, or worse, we put weight on, and it can be a diet-trap: you feel down, you wonder why you're putting yourself through this, and you end up eating :(

I also always weigh on Tuesday mornings, on my trusty scales, and I also measure my fat %. My CDC does weigh me of course, but it is always in the evenings and I don't find that very reliable. I tend to have smaller (but regular losses), so a 2lbs gain in the day could mean a STS for me. I also sometimes drink more water or have more tetras before my appointment. It may seem silly but I prefer to rely on a morning WI, with an empty stomach and bladder :)

I'm so so so happy that my cheese-related wobbly moment didn't end up in a gain. I got very lucky as I don't think it took me out of ketosis. I have to be extra good now, till my birthday where I'll treat myself with something nice with my husband. I'll turn 30, I think it warrants something nice :) I'm thinking afternoon tea but we'll see what my husband has organised. He's such a sweetie, he's organising a surprise day for me :)

Right, off to change my data on here and on my ticker. I'm still a long way away from my first big goal but I'm slowly eating into the 13s (stones). xxx

I don't understand... My ticker won't update itself? And even copying and pasting the new link doesn't work...

But it shows as updated when I am using the signature window... How strange!

It's something to do with how the moderators or the website works! It will update but may take a couple of hours. They do a freeze thing so I read! So it may not change straight away but it will eventually!

It's all back to normal, crisis averted :D Phew, I can breathe again, my ticker is working properly :D

I had a sneaky look at the scales this morning (yes, I know I shouldn't! ) and it looks good again :)

That is despite the fact that I got really angry yesterday because someone parked in our parking area (it's ours, not a common one for the cul de sac). And I don't why but I get very territorial with my parking space, lol. Of course, I'm far too chicken to go and say something  Really, am I the only one getting so worked up about parking? I'm starting to think I may secretly be The Hulkette :D

Hello everyone!

How are you all doing?

Keep your fingers crossed for me: I have just sent off an application for a job. I have been very unsuccessful lately and this time I put even more effort into it! The job is a bit far to commute (1h 10min by car) but it is part-time so not every day. And I am fed up of not having a job alongside my studies :(

Diet wise, all is well again. I have terrible cravings and sometimes a sip of Coke Zero is all that will take the edge of it. But I am holding fast. I am in unchartered territory (or near enough as I have not been this weight in ages), so I know my body is trying to adjust and may be a bit scared at losing its fat stores.

I was thinking this morning: I can't wait for my next WI but it's in a week's time :( I live for my WI, few things make me happier than updating my signature, my ticker and my stats (on here AND on my iPod, lol).

Plan for today: some housework (I am putting away the heavy coats and woolly jumpers) and probably some me time :D

Good news this afternoon: I received glowing feedback from my thesis supervisor. I'm so so so happy about this as my last piece of work was actually quite poor... :)

I was strating to feel rather despondent but gave this work my all and it seemed to have worked :)

I know, she looks great, doesn't she! I think Shazz is quite the gym enthusiast and I know it helps skin stay "glued" to the skin to help minimise loose skin. Also my mother's plastic surgeon (she had a TT) told her that regular body scrub and moisturising is vital, even when the skin is young.

We all have our moments when we can't help ourselves. I have been doing it myself today: I felt cold, it's grey and windy outside, and I kept eating small mouthfuls here and there  But for some reasons, I'm craving eggs on toast again :sigh: And yet I'm feeling very elated too... OK, off to bed to watch the hobbit :D

Oooo, I can't wait to be Tuesday as I think it could be a very good WI *rubs hands with glee*

It's strange how much faster I seem to be losing at the moment. The last time I did the diet, my losses were starting to really slow down.

What can I say: I love this diet!

I can put my Size 14 French trousers on now :) and soon my old summer trousers will be the right size for me to wear! THese trousers are over 10 years old!
