Paul: Tonight you will buy some flowers, light some candles and help cook a wonderful meal.

Then you will both have a stroll around your garden/grounds, check the horses and curl up on the couch with each other, the dogs and a glass of wine...

That way, when you are given the all clear by the docs, you can turn to each other and say, 'Thank goodness we had a great night last night. Can you imagine if we'd wasted it, worrying over what turned out to be a stupid throat infection?'.

What can I add that's not already been said..
If I was a praying man, my prayers would be with you ( I may even offer up a quiet one tonight anyway.. ).
I had a scratchy itch in my throat a while back and had my finger down my throat to scratch it when I felt something hard and rough at the back..
It turned out to be a tonsil stone, like a bit of grit made from trapped food particles etc..
I hope everyting turns out all right for you.
