I blew it tonight!

Feeling really disappointed in myself tonight. i have had a successful 2 weeks and lost 10lbs. My friend came round this evening and I put out biscuits for her. i was determined not to be tempted and resisted for an hour but alas......... I then ate 3!! I just couldn't resist :(:( so now I guess I am back to square one?
i do want to carry on so it's back to the start again as I expect 3 biscuits will put me out of ketosis and I have to get started again?

You know what sweetie, what's done is done. 3 biscuits in the grand scheme of things isn't the end of the world. It might add a day or two onto your weight loss journey, but who cares anyway? Well done for resisting as long as you did - thats a sign of progress. Soon you'll be able to look at them and ignore them completely. I can't guess if you'll be out of ketosis now, but personally I wouldn't worry about it and just try to get on with things.

Thank you to those who replied - very - very much as it means a lot:) I am back on track today and feeling positive again. I soooo want to lose the 3 stone I have left. After the first failure of last night I felt really disappointed in myself. It was so nice to get a reply, as clearly I Know I am not alone in the battle! The quest to find my old self again (who is buried somewhere under the layers) is not over and battle has begun again!!! Thank you all:):) We can do it!!!
don't worry we all have these blips, we just get right back up and dust ourselves off then start again! If you are anything like me then your 3 biscuit binge was nothing like what you would have binged before you started cd! Last sat nite i went out and came home abit worse for wear, needless to say i tucked into some bread, then some treat size choccie bars. I felt as though i'd had a huge binge but in reality it was tiny compared to my old binges. As long as you are learning new behaviours along the way, that is the main thing.
