I WILL lose the weight AND keep it off!!

Aww honey I am so sorry you are feeling rough. I guessed it might be so. I think we all have been at some very low ebbs in our lives, I know I certainly have. The day seems too long and all we want to do is close our eyes and wish the day away.

I think Weebs said in one of the girls journals that by posting on here when we are down we do help other people, as it gives them something to learn from. Life isn't all perfume and roses, it deals us as much crap as it does bouquets!

What makes things worse for you at the mo is that you are dealing with a situation you don't want to be in and feel you can't change. No one likes to feel that they have so litle control. Add to that the fact that you are undertaking an eating plan that involves no eating ! I think I would be looking for the nearest bridge or cup cake !

Take the best care of yourself that you can. Posting on here can help even if all we can offer is a poor you. Thinking of you xx

Hun you have my number if you wanna talk. I so know what you're going through. Been there myself...
Sending you lots of hugs.
You are not alone in this xxx

Well, I've seen the ENT specialist about the dizziness and nausea and I apparently have something called labyrinthitis. I'm actually glad there's a reason for it because I've had it for about 5 weeks now :( I have medication to ease the vertigo but I have to take it with a proper meal 3 times a day, so that's me not dieting for the next 3 weeks until I see him again. I'm going to stick to high protein, though, so hopefully I won't do too much damage. I'll still check in here, if ok, just to see how you're all doing. I'll be back soon enough, hopefully feeling much, much better and able (mentally) to carry on with my LL journey.

Take care.

Hi Karamac
Labyrinthitis is horrible! I had it 4 years ago and it came back 4 weeks ago, I had antibiotics for a week and some anti wobble stuff Betahistine dihydrochloride which my GP said need to be taken with food. I explained I am on LL and he said so long as I 'eat' to line the stomach it will be ok.
I'm really suffering at times feeling wonky on my feet and then nausea sets in, deep joy!! It lasted for about 8 weeks last time so I am hopeful it will ease.

Hope your not too bad with it. I know it is really difficult for you being so far away from home, :grouphugg:

Hi Karamac -

Sorry you have this problem. My brothers girlfriend has vertigo, and it has really affected her life - I hope they get it sorted for you straight away!! :)

Anyway, I am only recently climbing out from under the rock that last year was, and getting a bit caught up with the forum again.

I am restaring on 4th July myself, so here is wishing to a great start!!! Good luck, and I hope you feel better very soon.

xx

It IS independence day, you're right! We are in control of what happens and nobody else can do it for us. I'm quite excited and I've got another couple of weeks to prepare my head fully. The support on here is amazing. Thanks, ladies - you're all absolutely fab!
