And what did you do about alcohol? Cut it out altogether or have something low carb like vodka and coke zero?xxxx

Oh and sorry Bananas! your still in your 20s!

I'm struggling tonight. Dad went shopping and brought lots of food. I'm not hungry. I just want the comfort of sitting on the sofa and eating.

I'm telling myself that I need to stop eating just out of boredom. I don't emotionally eat. Just boredom. It's 7pm now so not long to go till I have have my hot drink.

Ocassionally had vodka and soda but only about 2 or 3 times - took 12 weeks look at my signature - had a lot of slip up days! Xxx

12 weeks is fast! I was 11st8lb and it took me 1yr to get down to 9.6. I got down to 8.9 not really trying when I was with my ex boyfriend but over a year and a half a stone has come back on.

Haha I like your way of thinking! When I'm on Bora Bora I'm guna be SO glad I stuck to it!

So easy to put back on isn't it? But well done you for identifying the need to lose it again when you only had a stone to lose. I waited to until i had just under 3 to lose. WILL NOT HAPPEN AGAIN! If you're struggling at any point just think how great you're going to feel on the beach :)
 
That's a really positive thing to say to me Carrot! As all I think is 'I can't believe I let it come back on?!' But honestly there was some days that I couldn't stop eating for love or money! You will get back there though! The support on here is tremendous!

I'm still in disbelief that this diet will actually work! But I'm sticking to it 100% till weigh in Thur morn and I can see for myself.

Week 1, Day 3

Salmon and Broccoli
Chocolate Shake (hot)
Macaroni Cheese and Broccoli
Vanilla Shake (hot)

This evening was a little difficult. Was bored and felt the psychological pull to eat!

Does anyone ever feel they'll never be able to eat normally again?! Always watching everyday what they eat so thy don't put on?!

I haven't experienced headaches yet (prob as have had so much water) and not feeling too hungry either. Started to taste a bit metalically in my mouth.. First signs of ketosis?!

Gym down. 20 mins cardio. 20 mins muscle work. Hope it pays off!

If anyone likes Disney movies Pocahontas is on at 5pm today on Channel 5! That's who I've got a date with haha!

At least Friday and Saturday I.e. THE HARDEST DAYS are over! xxxx

I'm experimenting with my shakes (courtesy of threads tips for newbies).

1/2 pack Choc shake (didn't want to use it all I case I messed it up!)
Mixed with 10ml of cold water

Put half in the oven in a fairy crack case 10mins
Other half in a ramekin in the microwave 1 min

Results

The one in the microwave burnt = disgusting
Oven one was like a diet version of a milky way... Lighter but tasted nice. Quite light and fluffy. Marshmellowy even!

That means if you made the whole pack you could have 4 little brownie/marshmallow things with a cup of tea!

Will try the same with 1/2 the vanilla shake packet and let you know the results!xxxx

Right I have been struggling to stay on track and have just over 5 weeks til my holiday. I'd like to lose at least a stone in this time!!! Heck!
I have a meal out tomorrow which has been planned for about three months so my plan is to face up to the scales, cry my eyes out (probably...in disgust) and get back on plan 100% on Tuesday.
I need to do this
I'll be exercising too so may have extra packs/protein etc some days
 
I used to think like that (will always be on a diet) until I got into running. Find something you enjoy and realise lifes more than worrying about calories xx
Just want to let you know that you CAN keep the weight off


P.s was friends bday yesterday I drank so much I was wasted so came home and ate pasta with Tiuna and 2 bags of crisps! I just needed food at that point... So 9 days left and will be 100% for those 9! Not going to be in ketosis long but hey it's the best I can do for now as cannot exercise, although may try a gentle walk or swim if injury is ok!
 
I enjoy running in the sun ALOT! But recently no sun and in the winter I have no motivation! And I've injured my foot also, but can do cross trainer and bike at the gym.

I think when I come off the diet it will be as important as being on the diet and that's what this forum has helped me to realise.

It's 9 days till my birthday so I'll be 100% with you too Lara.


Week 1, Day 4

Mushroom pasta, mushrooms, broccoli
Choc Shake (1/2 made into muffin, 1/2 as hot Choc)
Cottage pie, Lea and Perrins, mushrooms, broccoli, spinach (fav meal so far!)
Vanilla Shake (1/2 made ino a muffin, 1/2 as coffee vanilla latte...delicious!)

Found diet fine today. Definitely everyday gets easier a little bit but I have moments still defo!)

Side effects: 'paste' like texture constantly in my mouth but plus side of this it makes me drink my water quota each day.
