Week 1, Day 4

Mushroom pasta, mushrooms, broccoli
Choc Shake (1/2 made into muffin, 1/2 as hot Choc)
Cottage pie, Lea and Perrins, mushrooms, broccoli, spinach (fav meal so far!)
Vanilla Shake (1/2 made ino a muffin, 1/2 as coffee vanilla latte...delicious!)

Found diet fine today. Definitely everyday gets easier a little bit but I have moments still defo!)

Side effects: 'paste' like texture constantly in my mouth but plus side of this it makes me drink my water quota each day.

Keep up the good work :) ok 9 days lets do it! What are you doing on your birthday are you staying on plan? Just realised I actually fly out at night on day 8 if 2mo is day 1!

I prefer rain running! Less tiring as you are kept cool, refreshing and less people in the way! Maybe sign up for an event? Or park run is v good they are free 5k runs x
 
Well on my actually birthday (1st) I was going to afternoon tea at a London hotel with my best friend (31st July b'day) but have nipped that in the bud.

Then in the eve I'm MEANT to be going to my FAV restaurant with my 2 best mates.. Italian! V expensive! Fav meals and red wine and desserts and amaretto plus homemade bread! I wont be able to resist! But I'm guna send a text NOW saying money reasons and diet wise can we postpone as its just not worth it.. I'm worrying about the calories now! I'd rather go somewhere I can stick to plan with low carb fish/chicken and salad.

On the weekend however I'm going to a restaurant/cocktail place called Beach Blanket Babylon in Shoreditch.. 6 of us going and it's SO hard to get us all out I can't cancel.. So think with suck it up with a salad. Dunno how stong I'll be about the yummy cocktails yet (I love drinking but vodka and soda is boring!).. But will cross that in 2 weeks when I come to it!

Gym down: 45 mins cross trainer then 45 mins Pilates class

Have experimented with Vanilla caramel shake with coffee today- 10/10 felt like I was drinking Starbucks frapachino. No lie!
Also courgette crisps.. Bit hit ad miss had o make 3 batches as burnt the first lot to cinders as they were too thin and baked for too long. By the 3rd lot I'd got it right and sprinkled chilli powder on them and they were delicious! I'd happily replace crisps with them.

Birthday plan sounds good, do what you will enjoy I.e if you'll enjoy the meal more than staying on plan go for it - but sounds like you'll enjoy the other way around more - just know that it's your choice and you should feel happy with it - you are not depriving yourself x
 
Today I had

Breakfast: soya milk + tea + cambridge diet porridge
Lunch: prawns and salad
Will have:
Snack: remaining prawns
Dinner: Slim&save meal and 100g veg

Weighed in at 9st5 today... 7 days to lose 5 pounds hmmmmm...
 
We're guna go to my Fav restaurant when I return from Ibiza in Sept! I got a dress in the Topshop sale £50 reduced to £15 in a Size 6... So my aim is going to be to fit into it which I will around 8st10lb and go to the restaurant in that!

You're doing well Lara! I think 5lb in 7 days is totally do-able with the losses I've seen people have on here!xxxx
 
Also... Been on plan 4 days now... I'm guesstimating I'll be about 9.6-9.5 so about the same!

What date you back from Ibiza? Will you be doing S&S or any type of refeeding?xxxx

Your plan makes sense, you want to make sure you go away feeling good and not have regrets. I went to Ibiza last year at about 10st7 looked so unhealthy and I had fun but not as much as I would have. Don't regret anything

And check you out buying a size 6 that's tiny! I'm a ten wouldn't get to a 6 unless I was 7stone which I was b4...

I'm back on 10th... Might not use packs when back it all depends as if I can run and exercise again I won't need to but may do for a week or 2... Holiday will be vodka filled but don't usually gain weight when there as we run about so much!

Where abouts are you staying? Have u been before? X
 
Haha no its one if them dresses which are meant to be slightly loose! Otherwise I'm a 10. The 6 goes on but it's tight round the bum and gets line creases.. I think I'm guna have to be like 8.10lb for it to fit good!

I used to always be a solid 8 in dresses in Topshop so I'm a bit gutted. 10 on the bottom as my bum and thighs are slightly bigger.

When did you get to 7 stone? It's amazing how it goes on SO easily!

No I haven't been before! I'm SO excited its unreal hence prob why I'm actually sticking to this rather than failing. I'm staying in Playa d' en bosa in Fiesta hotel. Where you staying? What's best to do?!

Your last post was so motivating 'no regrets'. That's right I don't wana be thinking about sucking my stomach in when I'm on Bora Bora beach! I don't want to not be able to wear a bikini to Zoo Oroject coz I feel too fat!

Week 1, Day 5

Gym

Ham, Spinach, Mushrooms (in fry light) 2 Tomatoes (net carbs 5g less than a SnS meal) Salad
Vanilla Caramel Shake Iced with Coffee
Lamb shoulder, Veg (have dinner at my Nans once a week and she's v. accommodating!)
Choc Shake : 10g + 10ml water mixed and put in fairy case in oven topped with 5g Peanut Butter (35kcal, 0.4 sat fat, 0.4g carbs...worth it in my opinion!) baked for 10 mins on high.. Cut up into 18 pieces.. Bit like a cross between Reeces and a brownie with peanut butter. Other 24g made into hot Choc and had watching TV... Felt like a real treat!

I'm a little hungry now... Bed soon and onto Day 6. The key is taking it each day at a time and remember that SnS will end.xxxx

Ohhh ok well i wouldnt stress too much about the clothes size, make the best of your body shape and siZe i say :) i used to always think about when i was a size 6 like it was some magical time period but i was so unhappy and i now know that there is so much more that defines me than siZe and also came to realise i look alright haha! Not preaching or saying you think any of those things just passing on some of the things i learnt this past year... I was 7 stone, and as low as 6 stone at one point when I was 18 - was anorexic but didn't know it pretty much! Ballooned to 11.5 stone by 20 though and was kind of obsessed with diets since until this journey where I feel better than ever about weight issues. It's a waste of energy when you let it consume you - this is a means to an end right now so focus energy on holiday planing hehe. On that note packing just done almost!!!!

Playa d' en bosa is by far the best spot to stay - chill on bora bora in day - check out Ibiza spotlight Callander and you can see what's on - def do one night at cafe sol which is by the beach the end of San Antonio near to pacha... Watch the sunset there it's lovely and they make it a fun experience. What music do u like? You should also hit privelidge one night just to see it even - biggest club in the world. A heads up - get a normal metered cab from airport and it'll be 8 euro - the can drivers sometimes offer you the trip for like 30 as they know you don't know how close it is! If you come across any thing u wanna know always happy to assist!!! Also I'd avoid the boat party's. They always offer them
On the beach and the sales people go on n on n on n block the sun rays haha and the boat is not even fun..


You will have an amazing time I'm sure but yes make sure you strut your Stuff there and hold your head high and be proud of yourself and your dedication in this run up

Wow great info thanks! I'm super excited! We go for 6 nights you get a bit longer! I think I'll nearly be dead after 6 days though.. Not much sleeping and eating hopefully I plan to party party party!

Yeah I was the same when I was younger I used to be ruled By clothes sizes. But now don't care size or weight really as
long as I feel good about my body shape. I have a personal trainer who I usually train with once a week - not at the mo though too poor!- and he said if you keep training and building muscle you'll be getting smaller and your body shape will change but the scales won't which I'd be fine with but I've only just sorted that out in my head at 24... The rest of the time I was messed up and only cared about the digit on the scales!

Totally agree with that thinking on previous post and toning up this last 6 months I couldn't agree more how much muscle and working out helps so much more than meaningless weight loss which is lots of muscle n water so doesn't give as nice a shape... But being happy in skin is main thing... I will attempt to post a link to it... Think it's in Cambridge diet section as I started on that x
