to have a drink, would i be better drinking a bottle of sainsburys pina colada (white rum, pineapple coconut and cream) or Amarula, which is a south african cream and fruit based drink, ? i dont drink often now but i really fancy a drink,

should stick to wine hunnie at 1 or 2 grammes of carbs or spirits are carb free.

i really dont like wine, i do like spirits, but i dont drink them at home, i dont mind them at functions when im dancing them off and socialising, i have these two bottles in the cupboard calling my name lol i was kinda hoping cos they were both cream based they might be ok, ah well, pepsi max instead lol thanks :)

Sukie.............. now that is VERY interesting, so if I was to have a vodka and slimline tonic....... where would that lead to? Well apart from very drunk... hic!

im far from an expert but my understanding is that spirits are carb free and when you add a carb free mixer its the best option for a drink if you are going to have one. always remember that the body wont be burning fat .when there is alcohol to burn it will burn that before fat . and always remember that alcohol seems to have a much greater affect on those on atkins x

Off the top of my head I think its something like 1carb per shot worth (35ml?) of the allowed spirits.. i'll go look. x
