I did not have much luck with shakes. I would suggest trying it, with little water, see if it can manage making a thinnish paste first, and then add water a bit at a time. Mine wasn;t strong enough to mix it cold - really - but if you are going to use coffee, that may work? Give it a shot at home, so if it doesnt work you can transfer to your shaker and use your belonder, then theres no sacrifice made!

It's not great with the shakes I find, but good enough for the soup.
I haven't had cause to use it too much, but it's a great little invention when needed. Flask of hot water and a veg pack and voila! No need to rush home or eat my bar before I want to! xx
