Indian meal out

    I'm going out for a works meal out this week. We going to an Indian restaurant. I've never been to one before. Although I've had curries in pubs and make my own slimming world ones.

    I've looked through the sw book mines from 2012 so syns may be wrong. I can see the Chicken Dhansak is avg 6.5 and Chicken Kashmiri is 9.5. Chicken tandoori 9. I know these are just estimates but looking the best options.

    Has anyone had any of these dishes and are they nice? I've only really had masala and jalfrezi before and love these.

    I must resist naan breads as lovely as they are not worth the syns.

    Hiya

    I'm not the most adventurous but I always go for a Rogon Josh or my favourite is Lamb or Chicken Shashlik. It's marinated in a tomato base with accompliment of Pepper, Onion and Tomatoes. I then have a salad on the side with small rice. It's very much like a Tandoori as it's a dry dish.

    The only thing is that I've never been able to find the syns so I count it the same as Tandoori Chicken.

    Thanks for the reply hadn't even thought of Rogan josh! I will definitely look at those which recipes are tomato based.

    Will keep an eye out for shashlik

    Typical! No longer going Indians as someone doesn't like it and no English meals. So pub grub it is then :p oh well
