Well to all who is having a good day...well done so far but as we know it can change from minute to minute and my mind set has always associated a "celebration " as a time to eat. A good scool report or birthday or job well done meant a time to indulge in your most favourite foods? Can you all relate? Yes I knew you could but lets change this and create the new treats.. from a magazine to curl up and read, a nice long bath, that new top or time to look after your nails or skin.We can glow from saying NO rather than grow? All for one and one for all my friends x
I agree completely Irish ! It was my other halfs birthday last week, and I have to admit to having cake and takeaway , but not to the same amounts as I would normally , to me thats a step in the right direction !
It is all about changing old habits for new ones, ones that wont add the pounds but add the smiles !!
We can do this !!
:character00238:thats a lovely post irish eyes!
and quite right too.new treats for the new usses!
sounds like you're having a positive day.good for you!good for all of us!
as stormwind says,we can do this!!
a great post irish eyes and I completely agree with you! I have been trying to find ways to not snack in the evenings or not over eat when going to a restaurant! I find having a pampering evening e.g. long hot bath, giving myself a pedicure/manicure and just generally doing anything to avoid raiding the kitchen cupboards is a great tactic to keep my mind on other things rather than food I am craving!
