Irritating People

God, my Line Manager is annoying! (thought I'd rant on here, cos she'd never see it!) For the past week, I've had pains in my left, dominant hand, which is not good for a typist! I went to A+E with it yesterday (I work in a hospital, don't want to make me sound too dramtic!) and the nurse there thinks I may have Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (when the median nerve in your hand is pinched!) so I spoke to one of the Orthopaedic Secretaries who has booked me into see "The Hand Man" on Wednesday, but I still needed a referral letter, so I toddled off to the docs today. My GP thinks it's actually RSI (repetitive strain injury) and to still see said Hand Man for his opinion. Anyway, told my Line Manager when I got back, who instantly told me that the reason it's aching is cos I type wrong and was clearly taught wrongly! Hello? Who made her head of Occupational Health??? I went to Secretarial College, where I was taught to type, so I don't think so!! She really is the most irritating person I've ever met, one of those who has done everything bigger and better! Anyway, for once, I kept my mouth shut and decided not argue with her! Grrrr!!

Anybody else have run in's with people like this? Or know anyone equally irritating?

God there is one in every job isn't there. I had a girl like that at my old job, whenever she tried to give me some advice I used to be overly accepting of it and thanks her loads. Its bad I know but my god its annoying. Its a wonder she didn't just go up to the hand specialist and tell him how to do his job!

I had an identical problem... Doc said I had carpal tunnel, Occ Health said no it was my posture at work

Turns out they were both wrong and I have trapped nerves in my elbow which will need surgery. Ignore the 'expert' you get it checked out and diagnosed !

That's what I'm gonna do. She's just very irritiating and "knows" everything!
