Is it ok to go to OWL then back to induction?

Hi gang,

I was speaking to one of the trainers in the gym today as I'm preparing for a 10k in October. They were concerned about my carbohydrate intake for the run. Would the carb level on induction be suitable for running a 10k?

If not, I was thinking I would leave induction at the 2 week mark (i was thinking of staying on for longer initially) progress to OWL and slowly increase carb content and then once the run is over get back onto induction.

Am I just overcomplicating matters?

Thanks for any advice

Echo, although I'm in maint I'll often drop into induction the week before I know I'm going to eat badly, parties, Christmas etc, this gives me some leeway, and then straight back on induction after.
