Is it safe to do VLCD when ill

Hi all,

Apart from having the period from hell, I am also full of cold, sore throat, and just feel really run down. Is it safe to continue doing TS when you feel ill. I have been 100% for the past 8 weeks, but I now just want to EAT, and I am craving good old fashioned comfort food!

Any tips or advise please xx

Ive heard people say before that iys good as the packs have so many nutrients etc. But Id just listen to what your bodies telling you.

I would continue with the packs, maybe up to 4 packs a day and drink plenty of water and hot drinks, tea is good for you as it contains natural antioxidants, especially green tea.

The packs are designed to continue your nutritional needs, health wise you are better of sticking with the packs, and adding some ketogenic food if you need it. Hope you feel better soon :)
