I've lost the same weight as......................

funcurls

Never gets tired of SW!
Hi folks, we seem to be on a bit of a roll on motivational threads at the moment and the one about the benefits of being lighter triggered something in my head to talk about what our weight loss equates to and I find it quite fascinating!! I often pick up an item and feel its weight and think how many of 'those' I've lost- it's a very motivating thing to do!! So..... I've lost the maximum luggage allowance on a Ryanair flight (15kg) OR about 10 average sized honeydew melons OR about 8 2litre bottles of pop!!!

Over to you.........

According to the following list which I've copied and pasted from the maintenance section, I've lost the equivalent of a two month old horse........

I've lost slightly less than what my kitten weighs - and when he's sitting on my shoulder kneading my boobs with his full weight don't I know about it!! :D

16 pounds = a sperm whale’s brain - strange thought, lol.

I have lost the same as a small bale of hay. Also the same as what my sone weighs and i groan with the weight of him when i lift him up!

I have also lost the same amount of weight as my 18 month old baby or a car tire. thats actually really good actually i need to pick my son up to remind myself.

I have lost the equivalent of my niece who weighs 21 pounds. Its weird, if I carry her for too long, my arms start to ache; however, I used to carry that weight everyday and I never noticed it!! :)

I'm gobsmacked that an elephant's penis weighs 60 lbs (over 4 stone!) Who goes around weighing them anyway?!!

So I need to lose approx. a mid sized microwave but I've already lost a bald eagle. Am feeling a bit overwhelmed by all this haha!

Ha ha great list
I've lost 10 pounds= chemical additives an American consumes each year
and want to lose 33 pounds = a cinder block
whatever that is! lol

I love these comparison threads :) I did one aaaages ago, with pictures. See: http://www.minimins.com/slimming-world/101553-what-have-you-lost.html

I think fish are an excellent measure of your weight loss and due to the thousands of mad-keen fisherman, there are loads of photos of you to compare your lost fat with!

I am currently lighter by a fish like this:
