Total Solution Just Doing IT.

Your life sounds exactly like mine I'm on off on off
I convince myself I'm only 14.2 so I'm not that huge I'm voluptuous ( sounds better than fat)
Then I'm but if I get 2 plus stone off I'd look slim
I'm usually a stubborn pig headed person until I'm hungry
I will get there one way or another

Hey you fat fighters :p hope you're all well. Been a while. Got kind of busy, also had some time off. Am just restarting back on it today. The good news is since I came off it 5 weeks ago... I've lost another 2ibs. So this is nice, so I'm 2ibs lighter than my last update here. Currently at 20stone 2ibs, and back on Exante for day 1. Have a fresh cup of cofee (Azera) next to me, and settling back into the routine (where a cup of coffee is a luxury) lol.

Goal for this week is 100% on plan.

Hey re-starting today and we are similar size. Going to start a diary myself and keep following yours. Hoping we can all share the journey together as fed up of failing on my own, x

Hello and welcome back! Great news that you managed to keep the weight off during the break and good luck with your 100% week.

Thanks Womble!

OK! So here we go this is IT!!!
Another wishy washy week which saw me STS, so am still at 20stone 2pounds.

BUT! Today is the day it all changes. My friend has started Exante now. After hearing me talk about it etc. So we are both starting today. We also have a small bet. Taking it one month at a time for now. So will definately, without fail, 100% be on this for 1 month, 3 shakes a day +water.

Then will re-evaluate the next goal. Kind of excited to be doing this , and I think with the added competition with my friend, there's very little chance I'll be coming off anytime soon. Once the first 2-3 weeks are out the way I know it gets a lot easier from experience too, so my current plans are to stay on it until December 20th, at least. But we'll see. For now It's 1 month at a time!

Have a great week everyone

I'm glad you got a friend joining you! Makes the dieting thing seem a bit 'easier' as you won't feel like you're suffering alone. Plus the added 'competing' factor, it always makes me go ahead and do a thing more than I would if I was just doing it alone :p Good luck with it, you can do it!!

Thanks, yes so far so good day 1 dusted. Next update in 6 days time I think. Have to get to dentist soon have a bit of a toothache! Dunno if it's just me but if I have any niggling things like sore tooth it always seems a lot worse when in on exante not sure why!

Top of da morning to ya!

Hope you're all doing good. Been a nice few days so far, mainly because I stuck to the plan which is nice. Nothing but 3 shakes a day and water (and 2 cups of coffee) over the last 3 days.
Today is day 4 and polished off my first shake half hour ago (creamy coconut) not bad not bad. I must say variety as they say is the spice of life, and I'm certainly finding that with these Exante shakes. It's nice to have 12 odd flavors or so to be able to dip into as the mood takes you.

My tooth pain continued it was just kind of sensitive. So I went to the dentist. She put a temporary filling on my tooth. It got worse. I've been in pain last 14 hours ha. Good news is Paracetemol at max dose of 1000mg in 24 hours helps a lot with the pain. Called today and had my next appointment moved forward to tomorrow evening, so hopefully will be sorted within about 2 days.

Lost my passport a while ago, and am planning some trips next year. Also it's kind of handy for ID, and I'm missing it. Will be heading to the casino to play a couple of poker tournaments and need the passport for ID, so have been looking into getting it renewed. I think I have it running like clockwork at the moment. (1) Meeting a friend for lunch on Friday to get my photos endorsed. - I'll be on the shakes of course! (2) Going to book a 1 week quick appointment on Friday and get down to the passport office. (3) should have it back within a week. I just checked the ID requirements and as it's a lost passport, i don't need any supporting documentation, just the two photos. Nice.

I have some work to do that I've already been paid for today (and have had for last few weeks). It really shouldn't make any difference, but I do find I'm a bit less motivated in these situations. Of course it shouldn't make a blind bit of difference... but just reality of psychology I guess. Won't affect the quality of my work or how I apply myself to it but still, will be nice when it's finished the present batch of work that has lasted for some months (me and the person that employed me to do it, who is working on behalf of another client, will both be very happy when it's finished, and it almost is!).

I took a Netflix subscription recently. As we often realize on minimins, the main thing I miss about food (already just on day 4 of the diet again) - is the pleasurable experience of eating it. I guess food is like a drug to that extent. I'm not hungry. Just miss the pleasurable experience of eating nice food. So my Netflix subscription is an effort to distract from and replace the sense of pleasure to an extent. I think we all need some kind of enjoyable thing we're doing in our lives. I'm into psychology and I've read a fair bit about habits and addictions in my time, and the pleasure/reward center of the brain can be a very smart and efficient system at getting us to do things that cause us pleasure. So the trick if we want to stop doing things that cause us pleasure but not lasting happiness (i.e. eating whatever we want when we want) I guess is to find other sources of pleasure that are healthier to us, whatever shape that may take.

The Netflix program I've been watching is 'Making a Murderer'. I don't normally go in for the grizzly crime documentaries (and in fairness this isn't all that grizzly). But I would go as far as saying it's one of the most thought provoking, shocking, and perception shifting things I've ever watched in my 30 odd years of being on the planet. Basically how an entire police force and legal system essentially had it in for one guy and fitted him up again and again... I'm not giving anything away there either I'm only about half way in myself (it's a 10 hour series!) and its premise is that the guy was falsely accused. I really recommend watching it if you have Netflix.

Decided to start writing a little more than 'ok done it' in my blog. Nice to share a bit of what's going on.

Oh yeah also I hit my first goal I set on here to fall below 20 stone a day or so ago. Am not going to update it until My official weigh in on Sunday morning.

Have a great Wednesday!

I absolutely loved "Making a Murderer" ... it almost seems like such a surreal story the way it's presented. I mean... if you just took that and wrote a crime novel based on it, it would almost seem too farfetched? I'd been following a subreddit on the topic and the saga still continues. There are recent interesting developments - which I won't mention here, you can google it when you're done with the series. :)
I mean... the whole family are essentially "trailer trash", but they worked hard even if they're not the smartest or the nicest people in the world. Regardless of that, though, I don't think they did not deserved the sh*tstorm and somehow, I just don't think they're guilty. I just couldn't believe law enforcement can be so sloppy, careless and manipulative.

There's so many good things on Netflix though - Netflix Originals are really worth a shot! And certainly there's plenty of material there to distract away from the need to just eat. Not for hunger, but more for the activity. So I know where you're coming from with that ^^

Hey Minerva, yes for sure! I did google it wow pretty awesome about the boy. Hope something happens with the other guy.

Quick update. A pretty good week I had about 1 day off the diet (had a takeaway in the evening, ate ok throughout rest of the day).

Lost 5ibs this week which I'm very happy with!

Just sipping my chocolate shake as I type this.

So I've finally hit the first goal I set a few months ago and I'm in the 19's now. Onwards and upwards!

Hey better late than never ha Darcy? OK! It's going ok... 10ibs heavier since my last update.

I'm going on holiday in 4 weeks, so want to get back on this. There's no reason in 4 weeks why i cant get to where I was when I stopped and then lose an extra half a stone, which will be awesome! So that's the plan.
I want to lose 1.5 stone in 4 weeks, and get down to 19 stone.

Current weight 20stone 7ibs.

I'm losing Wieght, I'm so glad to see your still active and taking control, I've come back on after 4 years of a mind numbing relationship which blew my world apart.
Lost all that was me I had no guiding lights no ports to dock, nothing .
So I've Reactivated my old thread that I found like a life saving rubber ring in a rough ocrean, but I'm happy to be home where I started as this place made me commited, strong and a winner not only in wieght but in life ( when i was alone to enjoy it) .
I have much reading to catch up on and get back in the flow. So great to see you X

Yay, nice to see you. Hope your day is going well so far!
