I have not been as strict this week, and do not feel any weight loss. Since I am into the 13s' I have taken my foot off the gas, I really want to lose at least another 4 pounds before I go away (that will make 1 stone). I am away this weekend with friend, boozing and eating again. But when Tuesday comes I will be strict eating and exercising like a demon.

sounds like your still doing absolutely fabby Fi, youve definitely got your head focused.

We defo need to get a catch up soon. xx

I need a good kick in the pants, since I have hit the 13's I am not as motivated, I have less than 2 weeks left before I go and would like to have lost 10% of my body weight before I leave. So fire up and get motivated.

HIya - well done on your loss so far, do you mainly do greens / reds / ee? Sometimes the best thing to do is to change your days, which makes it more interesting and stops us from cheating as much.

Where are you off to on holiday? Lucky thing!

Hi Louise - I stick to either red or green days, I find I don't have a much success on ee, mainly as I forget what I am doing and eat everything. I need to have some regiment in the day. I mainly have red days it works better for me and the OH. Cereal for brekky, then meat and free foods for lunch, and meat and pasta/potatoes for dinner. The OH gets lunch through his works, so before each meal they do not know what it will be, he has fruit and yoghurt for breakfast so it can go either way as the day goes on. At night I can easily give him more red/meat or bump up his meal with green/rice/pasta/potatoes to siut what he has had for lunch.
Have you been doing slimming world a long time? I had been skirting around the edges of diets for a number of years admitting to myself I needed to lose weight, but not wanting to say it out loud or to other people or get help. I still don't want to tell friends, I feel it is some type of weakness I have - taking in more calories than I burn off. It seems so simple. I don't have an ideal weight that I would like to be, 11 stone is right in the middle of my BMI range, so that it what I am roughly aiming for, but the lightest I can ever remember being is 13 stone. I know I am big, 5'11', huge hands and feet, and a wide back, I am realistic to know I will never be willowy. I love being tall, but I would also like to be athletic, and not have people say "you carry your weight well 'cause you are tall".
I grew up in Australia, so we are going home for a few weeks, this was really the push I neeed to start losing weight. My mother is having a 60th birthday and it is going to be a big party with people I have known all my life. I have left it a bit late, but even with some weight off I feel much better in myself and have bought a fab dress. My body shape is not naturally curvy, but since this weight loss I can see my hips are wider than my waist. I once read the "perfect" proportion for a female body is 10 inches difference between waist and hips measurment. I am no where near that yet on the tape measure but I feel almost like a page 3 girl. It is such a confidence boost and motivational tool.
Jeeze - I rambling on, for not wanting to tell anyone my insecurities I have blurted them all out here for the world to see.
