Just started... Scared of bad breath!!

Hi all

I started yesterday after having a baby. I have done low carb before, but feel I need something that will work quicker! Plus I have a bit more to loose, pregnancy really does destroy your body.

Anyway, what worries me the most is the bad breath that sometimes happens when on ketosis, have had it before (although was going through hundreds of mints), but I always find that you can never smell it as bad as other people. I had a collegue that was on Atkins, and she STANK. So now I am worried about the same..

What do you recommend??

Plenty of water and regular tongue scraping with toothpaste and calorie free mints......lack of regular water can make it worse....
 
First of all good luck!! You never know you may be lucky enough to not get bad breath this time. I've managed to avoid it unless I go a while without drinking some water. If you do find it gets you then good breath spray and the like is pretty much the only option along the water and tongue scraping as Bea says.
