Kick up the backside!

    Right, this is my last weight loss diary. I have been messing around a bit with my weight over the last couple of months trying a few different 'diets'. Although I have lost 6 lbs (going from 14st1lb to 13st8lb), I haven't really been taking it seriously.

    From today I'm going to record my diary daily (feel free to moan at me if you haven't seen an update for a while) and hit the gym hard, I'm aiming for 1350 calories a day. I have booked a holiday in the middle of may and I want to have made some serious damage by then.

    First mini goal: 13stone

    Todays food:

    Breakfast: Nothing (I am very bad for this)
    Snack: Apple (80)
    Lunch: Baxters tomato, chorizo and mixed bean soup (232) Small sushi (256)
    Snack: Orange (87)

    Drinks: Coffee with semi-skimmed milk x3 (47)

    Dinner is going to be a homemade prawn curry with what calories I have left (648)

    Gym session tonight will ne mainly weights based.

    So I didn't end up going to the gym this evening but I took the dog walking for an hour instead. My king prawn curry turned out to only be 446 calories and was lovely and filling. That makes my total calories for today as 1148 ... I'll take that!

    Hey here to subscribe.. good luck on your journey hun I never used to eat breakfast I do now tho ;) I am now maintaining and pretty gym addicted!! :p

    Well today was going really well until I got told last minute that we are going out for dinner. Not that I'm complaining, but if I had known then I would have eaten less during the day. Food so far is as follows:

    Breakfast (yes I did have some!):
    30g bran flakes with strawberries, raspberries and blue berries (143)

    Snack: Apple (80)

    Lunch: Heinz leek and potato soup with four seed crackers (364)

    Snack: Orange (87)

    3x Coffee with semi skimmed milk this morning (47)

    So that leaves 629 for my dinner. I will try and go for the healthy option and will update later.

    Oh and I managed 40 mins of weights at the gym :)

    Hey hun food looks good today try not to worry too much about you meal out have a nice time!! well done on the gym activity do you do any classes as well? I braved the weight room the other day bit intimitating with all the muscley guys in there picked a quiet time tho!! :p

    Thanks :) No I don't do any classes, my gym is quite busy at the moment but I'm hoping it's just a begining of the year rush. It's getting the confidence to also, I feel like the biggest one in a class full of fitties lol. At the moment im trying to improve my running on the treadmill and try out some weights when its not so busy.

    Went for the pork and peanut thai green curry for dinner last night which definitely used up my calories, if not more! I left some of the rice but there was still quite a lot, It was better than the pork belly that I would have had before though!

    Good news today, turns out my scales were wrong or that I was using them wrong (I wasn't letting them zero before jumping on!) So I actually weigh 13st 5lb making my total loss 10lb :)

    Today was another good day.

    Breakfast: Nothing
    Snack: Apple (80)
    Lunch: Heinz chicken and sweetcorn soup with 4 seed crackers (410)
    Snack: Orange (87)
    Dinner: Salmon fillet with prawn and chilli stuffed pasta in walnut and ricotta pesto, side salad (577)

    3x coffees with semi skimmed milk ( 47)

    That leaves me 149 remaining calories which I'm calling quits because of my thai curry yesterday. Im feeling really determined today :) I have my free personal training session tomorrow which I got with my membership, fingers crossed it goes well!

    Hey hun I had 6 free personal training sessions when I joined they were pretty good :) I joined in October went from never having set foot in a gym to being totally addicted!! :p today was a day off for me so lunchtime I did body pump followed by spin then this evening went to spin again!! restfull day off!! :p

    Haha brilliant. Sadly my pt session has been cancelled for today and moved to next week but im going to go and spend an hour down there in a bit on my own. I seem to see the scales move more when I use weights so Im going to do half hour on the treadmill and half hour weights :)

    I so wish I could go to the gym. I have a disabled daughter and I care for her full time so I cant go as no-one to look after her. I hire a babysitter 2 nights a week to go to kickboxing and that costs enough on top of the class charge x

    If I can't get to the gym then I go on the wii fit or use my stretch belt thingy (technical term!) at home. What you do will help anyway :) x

    hey hun how did the gym go bit rubbish your PT session was cancelled!! was the weights room busy? do you not get intimidated by all the muscley guys in there? :p think I said but ive only been in there once and that was this week!! :p

    The gym was good, its always quiet at the weekend. There was only 3 men in the whole place! I always used to feel really self conscious using the weights because im bigger and I thought people would look at me and think 'you'd be better off on the treadmill love' lol. But now I just shove my headphones in and just ignore everyone else, they are mainly doing that themselves anyway! Im getting really into it too which is good :)

    Reading your diary on here steff I didnt realise you were soo small, I thought only people who were bigger needed to worry about weight lol. Did you used to be bigger or do you use this to help you maintain? :)

    I was overweight in August for my height 5ft 2 have dropped 3 stone since then ;) soz I used minimins to help keep me on track by the time I found minimins I had already lost a fair bit :)

    Wow you have done amazing! I am currently in the obease section for my height :( my goal is ten stone which I'm hoping to hit by the end of the year

    you will hunnie you seem very determind!! you will also get to a stage like me with the amount of excersize you do if you dont want to continue losing you can eat far more ;)

    Yesterdays food wasn't too bad, I made good choices (kinda).

    Breakfast: Medium skinny latte from costa (115)

    Snack: Fruit and nut mix from costa (205)

    Lunch: Heinz vegetable soup (188)

    I went into work yesterday until 1, god I hate monthends! I then went to the gym for 40mins and done more weights.

    I went to a friends for dinner last night and had two pieces of garlic bread with a handfull of olives for starter, chicken and vegetable pasta in a tomato sauce for din er with half (yes half!) A jam doughnut for desert! I had 842 calories left for dinner which I estimate I went slightly over but at least I was only on water, I made sure I drove to limit the damage :)

    well done sounds like a good night out!! I tend to not be able to resist cheesecake for desert :p
