Kingleds Food Diary - help needed!

Brekkie: frittata (egg, tomato, spinach, potato, mushroom) with grilled tom & mushrooms & baked beans.

Lunch: ploughmans. 64g wm roll (heb & 1 syn) 42g reduced fat cheese (hea) Ham, beef, picked onion, beetroot, cucumber, carrot & tomato. 1 tablespoon pickle (1 syn)

Dinner: roast chicken, sw roast potato & parsnip, carrot, swede, cabbage, gravy (2.5 syns)

Mikado sticks: 12 at 1/2 a syn each: 6 syns

10 syns total.

Office all week :( early mornings & late home each night requires lots of planning!

Brekkie: frittata ( mushroom, tomato, spinach, pepper, onion, potato, egg, bacon). Banana

Snack; apple

Lunch: balsamic med roasted veg bulgar wheat (aubergine, tomato, mushroom, courgette, pepper, bulgar wheat) with carrot, tomato, cucumber, chicken.

Snack: orange

Dinner: mediteranean chicken (onion, pepper, tomato, courgette, mushroom, garlic) with chorizo (6 syns)

Snack: 4 ryvita with 4 laughing cow blue cheese squares (heb & hea)

Brekkie: magic porridge (heb) with raspberries

Lunch: roasted veg bulgar wheat with pepper, onion, carrot, cucumber, aubergine, courgette, mushroom, cherry tomatoes. 1 salmon fillet.

Dinner: joes sausages & beef burger with tomatoes, mushrooms, baked beans, 1 roll (7 syns) & 42g reduced fat cheese (hea). 1 tablespoon bbq sauce (1 syn)

1 ryvita - 1.5 syns

Brekkie: Magic Porridge (HEB porridge, scan bran, natural yog) with raspberries. Banana

Lunch: roasted veg bulgar wheat with pepper, onion, carrot, cucumber, aubergine, courgette, mushroom, cherry tomatoes. 1 salmon fillet.

Dinner: Chicken Kebab with salad, ex light mayo (2 syns) WM pitta bread from co op (6 syns)

Small glass wine: 6 syns

Lunch: Salad from Tossed. Cos Lettuce, brown rice, chicken, pepper, cucumber, carrot, broccoli, spring onion, mushrooms, balsamic vinegar.

Twister ice lolly (4 syns)

Dinner: pork loin, sw wedges, tomatoes, mushrooms, baked beans, fried egg.

Have not completely decided. Either 3 vodkas with diet coke- 7.5 syns, or 2 small glasses of wine with soda watet so they last- 12 syns. Will be alternating with plain diet coke either way.

Dinner: will get a M&S potato & egg salad & Some form of cold cooked meat on way home to munch!

So weigh in was not great yesterday , and in a fit of pique i had a definitely off plan day. So annoying when you stick to it & get a gain.

Anyway, shopping done for the week. Batches of veg curry & mixed bean chilli done for lunches & a new thermos food flask in the cupboard for transport!

No brekkie today - wasn't hungry

Lunch: 68g Wm roll (heb + 1 syn), 42g reduced fat cheese. Lettuce, cucumber, tomato, pickled onion, beetroot. Ham & roast beef slices

Dinner: salad - lettuce, cucumber, brocoli, tomato, pepper, radish. chilli made with extra lean mince, peppers, onion, red kidney beans, tinned tomatoes. Served with rice.

Bourneville bar: 12 syns

I should learnt by now - some foods just disagree with me now.

Apple

Out for lunch with work. Choices in the pub were derp fried food, deep fried food, or deep fried food. Not a salad in sight. Had a burger, which was assured was made with ex lean mince, in a bun (about 10 syns) with bacon (took all the fat off) and about 6 chips (oven cooked but am assuming 3 syns of oil - didn't taste oily)

Anyway, lets just say it did not agree with me & having seen my lunch again about a hour after eating i'm not sure i really need to syn anything. But i will just to be on the safe side. I also doubt i will eat tonight as still do not feel right at all.

If i do eat it will be the lunch i took to work with me: ginger, honey (1 syn) garlic & soy baked salmon with salad (watercress, spinach, cucumber, radish, broccoli, green beans, celery, carrot, pepper).

Office today - this may mean pub at lunch but i will just make sure we go somewhere with salad this time

Dinner: grilled trout with green pesto (3 syns) with saute new potatoes and salad

1/2 pitta bread ( 3 syns). 1 teaspoon houmous (2 syns)

Hubby off out tonight so house to myself. Is it bad that I'm actually a bit excited about a bath and an early night with the TV Remote to myself?

Anyway, Had a Frittata for brekkie made with eggs, bacon, potato, mushrooms, courgette, pepper, onions. Had it with grilled tomatoes and mushrooms. Yum

Lunch, Vegetable curry. Made with potato, sweet potato, peas, green beans, peppers, onions, tinned tomatoes, courgette, brocolli. Double yum

Dinner will be Joes Burgers x 2 in a WM bun (HEB) and 42g reduced fat cheeese (HEA) with salad. 1 syn bbq sauce

Syns wise. Just had one pack from my new graze box. Rice crackers - 4 syns. Yum

Making 1.5syn scotch eggs at the moment for taster session at weigh in tomorrow (made with Joes Sausages so the only syns are the bread). Had to test them. So 1.5 syns gone on that. It was lovely.
Also had a light hifi bar- 3 syns

Weigh in this morning. Lost 3.5lbs & got my 3 stone award :) woo hoo! Main difference this week is i haven't had a banana every day. So stearing clear of those from now on.

Had a few bits of tasters there but nothing worth writing down

Lunch: frittata - seriously not sure how I did SW before i discovered these! New potatoes, egg, bacon, mushroom, pepper, courgette, onion, tomato. Had it with baked beans & grilled tomatoes.

Dinner will be chicken stuffed with philly light (hea) which i'll mix with garlic & herbs, then wrapped in parma ham (can't see myself using more than 4 slices so 2 syns), with saute potatoes & a salad made from lettuce, cucumber, tomato, radish, celery, pepper, and broccoli.

Syns. Bag of square crisps - 9 syns. Bourneville bar - 12 syns.
Yes, i know i'm gonna be over my 15 syns. But i can easily make up the 8 syns over the week.

Heb- 2 caramel choc light hifi bars.
 
Brekkie today: missed due to getting up too late

Lunch: ham, beef, 42g reduced fat cheese (hea) with 67g wm roll (heb + 1 syn), lettuce, cucumber, tomato, radish, pepper, pickled onion.

Forgot to take the seeds out of my scotch bonnet peppers when i made the brown stewed chicken. Gorgeous - but very hot! Am going to have some mango mixed into some total 0% greek yog

Thanks! Taken me SO long - i've been hovering around the 13st 11 mark for about 2 months so its a relief to get a (for me) big loss in the book finally.

Frittata is amazing!
I slice up some new potatoes and microwave in water for 10 mins.
Meanwhile in a frying pan i cook up all my superfree veg - i usually do mushrooms, onion, peppers, spinach, courgette &
Tomato. Add some ex lean bacon chopped up as well if not on a green day. Then add the potato in.
Pour over 6 beaten eggs and mix in.
I then reduce the heat slightly Leave for about 10 mins. Then put under the grill to brown the top.
In my frying pan it makes 4 big portions.

Parma ham- i buy the really thin stuff from waitrose or sainsburys - on synsonline its 1 syn for 28g or 1/2 a syn a slice. I might be wrong and under synning it though! First time i've eaten it since starting SW.

Ooooh sounds yum! Spinach! I dont remember the last time I did spinach... I use a tiny bit then the rest goes to rot so I dont do it often, plus they usually want you to squish the water out which Im totally hopeless at. Yum, I shall out that on ze lizt for next week :)

And am now off a ham-hunting... :cool:

Brekkie: the usual pineapple, melon, ff yog and all bran (HEB)

Lunch: Veg Curry (Potato, sweet potato, green beansm brocolli, carrots, onions, peas, spinach) with some rice

Dinner: Keema Curry made with ex lean mince, onion, tomato, potato, peppers, mushrooms, and whatever else I can find thats superfree.

HEA - 42g reduced fat cheese on a couple of ryvitas (3 syns)

olives (7.5 syns) left in my graze box.

Total: 10.5 syns
