Last Half a Stone Challenge! any takers?!

you're right Tara - of course it's better to be good 99% of the time. I think that's why I like SS. There is no choice whatsoever and no food involved.

I really do believe the easy bit is losing it and the hard work starts once you've lost it.

omg i'm knackered! We went to Bedgebury Forest today with the bikes and spent 2 hours cycling around the mountain bike track! It was really nice but quite tiring! dh had ds in a little seat on his bike which was great fun.

Nothing got done at home but its so rare for us to get a day out altogether that it was worth it.:)

Very hungry when i got home so i've already had my dinner - quorn sausages (i'm becoming addicted to them now), cabbage, mushrooms and pickled red cabbage.

Its so strange but on this diet i seem to go through phases of having just one type of food or flavour. For example, i now only drink banana tetras and eat cranberry bars. I was eating only fish but now i seem to be eating only quorn sausages! I should try and vary my food abit more but i just seem to get fixated with one particular thing! weird eh?

Fruit wise has been okay so far today - 2 kids size apples and some blueberries. Room for a banana later i think. Going to have an options drink in abit - they are really getting me through the evenings at the moment but they still taste SO sweet!

Think we will all sleep well tonight thats for sure!

Ho hum, work tomorrow, what a bore. May go kickboxing tonight if i can summon up some energy but i'll see how work goes first.

SussexGirl- thanks for popping in to see us! Nice to see you hun. I was thinking of going to knockhatch ski centre, have you been there? just wondered what its like.

xx

my day has been boring been home all day doing bits n bobs but not a lot at the same time! lol

Hi Jo

Sounds like you've had a nice family day - lovely.

Knockhatch is literally just up the road from me. What sort of thing would you be interested in doing there?

I just asked my daughters and they said it is ok, but quite expensive as you have to pay extra for certain things.

I've never been myself, so can't comment. I'll try and find out a bit more from the girls for you, but don't forget mine are teenagers so they will probably be useless at telling me if it's going to be any good for your DS

Tara i'm so glad you enjoyed the sea bass - its such a gorgeous taste isnt it? i love it.

SG - i was thinking of the dry ski centre. Just for myself as ds too little. The adventure park looks good but i think its closed now until easter. If your girls know anything about the ski centre let me know! xx

sorry to b completely random here but just wanted to tell u bout my 17th birthday. my birthday is new years day, and that year there was lots and lots of snow. i live at a very rural crossroads, and the road behind my house is a very steep incline that last for a good quarter of a mile. theres quite a lot of families live around the crossroads and all the kids are about the same age, plus my best friend lives 100 yards from me. the road with the incline was completely impossible to drive on due to the approx 2 foot of snow, but it had also rained and snow had become very slippery and slick. about 15 of us spent 3 hours sliding down the hill on peat bags, and ill always remember it as one of my best birthdays ever!!

btw, peat is a fuel a bit like coal, is cut from bogs and when burnt makes an amazing smell. its packed into bags about a metre high by half a metre across. the bags are usally a very smooth plastic!

like i said, completely random!

sounds like it was a fantastic birthday Delli. I remember sliding on carrier bags at school during one particularly good snow fall in the mid 80s. We had such a great time.

I've never tried ski-ing before and I really want to have a go on the dry ski slope. Think I might book a course soon if i'm feeling brave enough! Say thanks to your dd for the info SG! A sledging party sounds good fun! lol

Only had 1 1/2 litres today as i couldnt drink while we were out and i just forgot to catch up when i got home. Will only make 2 litres today but will get back on it tomorrow.

Think i'll go and have a bath now - see you all tomorrow after work xx

oh bless her, poor thing. Can she listen to some music on the headphones or something or would that make her worse?

awwww, that is so distressing, i hope she is ok. I wonder why she gets so freaked out by them? did she have a bad experience once? looks like it will be an early nite for you hun xx

Morning hun
Hope your dd s feeling better this morning and you both got a good nights sleep.

I kept waking up all night - all sorts of peculiar dreams! Now up, dressed and just checking in before work.

Only managed 2 litres yesterday so really need to get going on the water today. Hopefully i haven't got too many clients so i'll be able to sit at my desk and drink, drink, drink!

Bit dull here today but i don't mind coz i'm working lol :D

Have a good day at work Jo, and get that water down..lol

Its lovely n sunny here this morning, but bloomin cold !!

She took ages to go to sleep but thankfully when she did go off she slept all night!! i ended up not getting to sleep till gone midnight as i got stuck into reading my book,

I Managed to glug 5ltrs yesterday woohooo!!

Have a good day at work huni and glug away on the water!!

Morning Maggie xx

xx

Hooray! work over and back home now. Tummy nicely full up of cod, broccoli, cabbage and couscous.:)

I've drunk 3 1/2 litres today so i'm on track to have 4 litres by the end of the day. I'll be more than pleased with that.

Bought a packet of fruitella sweets today in my lunch hour. Ate 3 at my desk and then thought why am i doing this?! I knew it was only going to trigger off all sorts of sweet cravings so i put them in my drawer and left them there. I was going to chuck them in the bin but couldn't quite bring myself to do that!:D They'll be safe in the drawer, there is already a mint club biscuit thats been in there for 4 months so it will have some company now:D (I love those club mint biscuits - i used to buy a packet (think they come in 10s) and eat the whole lot in virtually one sitting:eek:

Food wise has been fine today. only 7 calories left though which is abit of a problem as i would still like another apple, an Options hot choc drink and some chewing gum! That chewing gum comes up as 63 calories for 9 pieces on weight loss resources!

I'm feeling pretty tired tonight after work so will probably just chill out and relax with ds (if thats possible! lol)

What you been up to today Tara? and what are you reading?

xx
