Lauralozzle's journey to 10 st (with pics)

    So, I've had a few of these but it all went to pot so here I am again! Hopefully, this time I will shift this weight! This is not for a summer holiday, it's for good! I need to get back into my jeans and dresses. I will not buy bigger clothes! That I refuse to do. So, the specifics: I weighed in today at 11 stone and a half. Not good. I will be following a slimming world style diet, but will be calorie counting as well. Day 1. Extra easy

    Breakfast: porridge with milk (hexa & hexb) chopped banana and Nutella. (3 syns)

    Lunch: smoked salmon sushi; sweet chilli baked crisps. (7.5 syns)

    Dinner: chicken cooked in nandos sauce, Mexican style rice, chips and salad. (0.5 syn)

    Snack: ice lolly. (3 syns)

    Total syns: 14/15

    Total calories: 1,504

    Exercise: 60 minute walk

    Day 2.

    I've had a fairly lazy day today. It's been raining all day so I haven't ventured out, I have spent the day doing the laundry and cleaning though, which has been fairly productive.

    Another extra easy day.

    Hexa: cheese
    Hexb: ryvita

    Breakfast: scrambled eggs, bacon, tomatoes and quorn sausages. (3 syns)

    Lunch: ryvita with cheese and spread; grapes and an apple. (1 syn)

    Dinner: pork loin steak with all the fat removed, broccoli, carrots, green beans and boiled new potatoes with some spread. (2 syns)

    Snacks: banana; ice lolly; dreemy bar. (8 syns)

    Total syns: 14/15

    Total calories: 1,408

    No exercise today.

    Day 3

    Another good day today. Been a bit carby though, we'll see how that alters the scales in the morning.

    My official weigh in will be Friday, hopefully I'll have a little loss by then. It's not been a full week though so I'm not expecting miracles.

    Green day

    Hexa: cheese hexa: cheese
    Hexb: cereal hexb: cereal bar

    Breakfast: cereal and milk, banana. (2.5 syns)

    Lunch: jacket potato with beans and cheese. (1 syn)

    Dinner: quorn spaghetti bolognaise with cheese.

    Snacks: weetabix oaty bar, safari snacks, chocolate wafer, kiwi, grapes, apple.

    Total syns: 14/15

    Total calories: 1,649

    Net calories: 1,523

    Exercise: 28 minute walk in the rain. It was miserable.

    I'm so glad it's not raining today, been for a lovely walk through the park and I'm not the slightest bit wet. Lovely.

    Had a long, although productive day today. Been to opticians, got my hair done, went mattress shopping!

    Extra easy

    Hexa: cheese
    Hexb: ryvita

    Breakfast: scrambled eggs, bacon, plum tomatoes and beans. (1 syn)

    Lunch: ryvita with spread and cheese. (1 syn)

    Dinner: tuna steak, Mexican rice, asparagus and green beans.

    Snacks: Apple, kiwi, strawberries, blackberries, dreemy, safari snacks. (10.5 syns)

    Total syns: 12.5/105

    Total calories: 1,605

    Net calories: 1,283

    Exercise: 63 minute walk

    Yum your dinner looked good. I'd never think of having asparagus at home and worry that I wouldn't cook it right.
    How do you do the Mexican rice?
