light headed and shakey after exercise

Hello, I just joined today!

I have just started the G I diet and so far I'm not finding it difficult at all.
The only problem I am having is that after exercise I feel light headed and shakey. I eat something afterwards, ie, yoghurt and branflakes.

I'd like to know if this is normal and if theres anything I can eat/drink/do to stop it.

I was about to say are you having your three meals - three main meals and six snacks..

I would be inclined to say your snack before the exercise. So if you did it morning have your brekkie then a small banana or a slice of wholemeal bread or a yog.

The same if its afternoon. Have a cup of tea about half hour before with a spoon of sweetner in (if you have sugar).

Just make sure you are not ravenous before the exercise begins or you will feel awful after as your body would have been put through rigorous exercise working on a really empty tummy and hunger. Thats why your shaky

I had eaten lunch of wholemeal pasta, veg and salad about 1 hour before,
so i wasnt really that hungry,
I didn't know i should be having six snacks a day, thats very useful information
