Lily's 261st attempt at sticking to a plan - JUDDD!!

LOL :8855:

That's the wonder of Kindle - no one can see your embarrassing collection of self help books! Or 50 SOG.... (yep, I caved and read it but was far from entertained. I haven't bothered with the other 2 books in the series. In about 5 years, if she practices, the author's grasp of writing may improve... *****y, I know, but you can get far better stories (with the same sort of subject matter ;)) absolutely free on the Internet if you know where to look - which I do, funnily enough.... ;) Ahem. Cough.

So, I've made it through my 2nd DD - yay me! :) It sure helps that OH is doing it with me (JUDDD, you dirty minded folk... :D). It's far easier to stick to your guns when folks aren't scoffing in front of you.

TGIF!

Have you read the book?

Dr J's? Yes, of course. Unfortunately you can't get it on Kindle in the UK so I have a physical copy, gasp. :)

Wish you could 'like' posts using the iPad. I've figured out how to multiquote but not 'liking'.

How do you multi-quote on the iPad?

I thought I had it sussed, but it did not work.

Let's see if I can explain it. :)

If you click the blue-ish bar above the post you want to quote - the pale blue bar that has the avatar of the person who wrote the quote and the join date of the poster/ no of posts (and the place where the title of the post would've gone if the poster had used one), a black bar comes up. To the left of that bar is an empty white box. If you click on the box, it gets ticked. Do this for all the posts you want to quote. Then, to reply, use the reply button in the top right of the screen as usual. It gives you the option to multiquote posts.

Think that's it - I'll just double check and edit this post if I've missed something. :)

(this is using the iPad/iPad app - not the desktop version you get in Safari etc)

Ahhhh, I found the box and ticked, etc. but didn't do the reply arrow, I just hit quote in the last post.

Thanks, Lily

You are most welcome. :)

Hi Lily
Glad you're back. Wish my OH had to diet with me, he eats mostly rubbish and drinks way too much yet there's not a picking on him. It was one of my first targets to weigh less than him... He will never understand how hard dieting is. Not that I wish it on him really, but I know he couldn't last a week...
Good luck to both of you

He is tall and all his family is short not sure which veg patch they plucked him out of lol x

LOL at the OH stuff. :D

OH is very happy this morning because the scales are reading 6lbs down - that's after two DDs.

But then I'm also quite happy with my 5lbs loss (also after a mere 2 DDs) :D Yay me!

Double UD now. Bring it on!

Whoop! Go Lily. It helps to have a diet partner and is even easier when it is the person with whom you live.

Enjoy your weekend.
