Little Miss Naughty's Food Diary

Defo going to book Vegas soon, now I've started this new job will be able to afford a few little holidays! Do you stay in a hotel? Any recommendations? Absolutely brilliant job back on track, food sounds delicious and healthy. I'm sure you will be rewarded on the scales!

Yay to the early loss!

I sooo agree with you on being able to get straight back to it with CCing. The last two days I had to go off track with my mum here but today straight back to healthy, it's really about being a lifestyle change and developing new habits otherwise, when you come off a specialised diet the body just cannot easily adjust.

Oh and on a side note you should all pop over to Aus, or we can all meet in Vegas (never been, but would love to).
x

Thanks hun, I feel great getting back on track so quickly :)

We always stay in hotels on the strip, have been to a few and all are really good. My best advice would be to stay on the strip and not further out. My personal favorites are MGM & Luxor. We've not booked the hotel yet for this time but think we're looking at New York New York.

Thank you. It is a lifestyle change and I totally agree with you, when you come off a diet, it is really hard to get back into it or eat healthily after but CC is different because I don't think of it as a diet.

Ah would love a girlie trip to either Vegas or Oz, what do you think Claire, lol.

Good morning all!

It's Friday already....where did that week go!!

I'm so looking forward to a lie in tomorrow and not really doing much. I've not really got any plans for the weekend, I guess I'll just catch up on washing and cleaning etc.... On a positive note, not having plans means that the diet will stay on track as I wont have any temptations :)

Yesterday was a great day foodwise. I ended up having my veggi burger with actifry chips and salad for dinner and still had some calories left, so I had a couple of ferrero roche as a treat with a cuppa later on. I ended the day on 1025 calories which was great but it felt really naughty because I'd had burger, chips and chocolate!

I've decided that I'm not going to drink for a couple of weeks because I drank far too much over xmas and on holiday. So Alcohol won't be a problem this weekend. Normally I would have a gin or glass of wine on a Friday night after work.

My food plan for today is:

Breakfast - Banana
Lunch - Cuppa soup, lentil curls & grapes
Dinner - Pasty, salt & pepper potatoes with lots of veggies

Have a great Friday all!

Isn't that so true about staying on plan, is staying at home lol

And don't feel too guilty, you counted every cal and deserved to have a treat. The diet shouldn't rule your life, healthy and sensible habits should just be life - AKA moderation.

HAPPY FRIYAY x

It got to about 9 last night and I had worked out that I had only had less than 900 calories for the day, so felt abit bad not having enough, hence the treat :)

It is amazing what you can eat around the 1000/ 1200 mark, I have plenty of low cal, filling and tasty recipes now that don’t break the calorie bank. As Bren says moderation is the word but even when you blow moderation out of the water say at Xmas with a bit of knuckling down you can get yourself sorted. It really is the path for life.
Must admit it’s really great to have the support on line support so thanks girls x
P.s I’m always up for a little holiday too😀

Most days I struggle to get over 1000 calories without having a treat. Like you say it is all about finding low calorie recipes. Most nights I am amazed at how much I have on my plate. Sometimes for example if we have pizza, I'll have 1/2 a veggi pizza, a few chips, couscous & beetroot salad, my plate will be over flowing. On exactly the same meal hubby and kids will have 1/2 meatfeast pizza and chips, they have more chips than me but their plates aren't overflowing but they have a lot more calories than me. Sometimes I actually feel guilty because it looks like I'm eating more than them!

I totally agree the support online is what has helped keep me going for the last year :)

Happy Saturday all!

I got my lie in....I didn't get up till gone 9....YAY!!!!

Saturday is my midweek, so I had a peek at the scales this morning and it shows a 3lb loss since Wednesday which is fab. Hopefully if I stay 100% between now and Wednesday I'll get a couple more and that'll mean I'll have lost half of my gain. But will see how I do. I'm just super happy that I've got back from holiday and got straight back on it and I'm losing :)

I've not got a lot planned for today, need to nip to costco and b&q later but other than that, I think it will be a stay inside in the warm kinda day.

Hope you all have a great weekend!

Yay to a sneaky mid week peek! AND a very envious sleep in!

Planning is key and I will crack on with my meal prep tomorrow, love Costco btw.

I am the same with pizza night, I order gnocchi and eat only half and steam some broccoli and greens and feel so much better when I look at all the other plates. Hubby sometime wants in on the greens too which is good. Are your tribe all healthy good eaters?

Planning is definitely the key. I always do a meal plan for the week before I write my shopping list and I always have 1 extra meal on the plan, incase I change my mind about a meal mid week or plans change.

My hubby and daughter are good eaters, love veggies and salad but also love junk food but my son (21) is so fussy. Luckily he don't always come home in the evening for dinner. He never used to be fussy but now he works and can afford to eat junk food out, he has decided he doesn't like veggies or salad or anything healthy for that matter!

Happy Sunday all!

Another great day yesterday foodwise. I ended up having lunch (Jacket potato & tuna), dinner (healthy fried breakfast) and some jaffa cake bites as a treat with hubby and daughter while watching tv. My total calories only came to about 900. I was gutted it was so low as I really don't like going under 1000 a day but I couldn't have eaten more if I wanted to.

Today my plan is to go for a longish walk at lunchtime and stop off at a pub for a snack (crisps and diet coke for me) and then come home and cook a nice sunday dinner. I also want to start planning a few bits for our vegas trip in March.

Food for today is as follows:

Breakfast - Cinnamon and raisin bagel
Lunch - (not sure yet maybe just snack)
Dinner - Veggi toad in the hole, salt & pepper potatoes and lots of veggies

Have a great Sunday all!

Very pleased to hear the weight is melting away. Sounds like a right good weekend. I might need to get some tips off you for Vegas as it’s a pals 50 th next year she is thinking about a Vegas trip. I think it sounds like great place for a girlie trip x

OMG yes it is a great place for a girlie trip or couples trip, or with friends or with relations.....LOVE VEGAS!!!!

Good morning all.....Monday again!!

I had a great day yesterday, it was so chilled. We went for a lovely walk at lunch to the pub in the next village, it was a beautiful day, very cold but dry and no wind, so perfect for a walk. Then in the afternoon evening we just chilled and looked stuff in Vegas. We've now booked the hotel, we're staying at New York - New York, so super excited as we've not stayed there before but it always looks nice :)
Food yesterday was slightly over, I ended the day on about 1200 calories but I did walk for over an hour, so not too bad.

Food for today is as follows:

Breakfast - Banana
Lunch - Cuppa Soup & Grapes
Dinner - Veggi Meatballs and Spaghetti

Have a great day all!

when do you go to Vegas / New York ? I’m on holiday in 8 weeks, very excited, heading to Jordan so will finally see Petra. Love a wee trip must admit. This year I’m not doing too much as want to change my kitchen and do a few things round the flat.
I ve been taking advantage of the good weather, it’s fantastic getting out on a crisp clear winter morning. Love walking such good exercise
Have a great day

I go to Vegas (staying in New New-New York hotel) in just over 8 weeks. So excited but I know I really want to be really close to my target by then as when I get back I'll only have a couple of weeks until I go away for Easter.

I'd love to go to Jordan, it's on my bucket list. You'll have to let me know all about it when you get back. I bet you are really excited :)

I love walking but only really get time on a Sunday or when I'm on holiday. There's nothing better than wrapping up warm and going for a good walk in the sun when it's freezing cold!

Good afternoon all!

Yesterday was great foodwise....I even had enough calories left for a warm chocolate brownie and ice cream :)

Today I've got my brother and niece round for dinner, so I'm doing chicken burgers and actifry chips. I think I'll have chicken with salad and couscous instead of the bap. I know that'll be more filling and also less calories.

It's weigh in day tomorrow so I'm not going to have a treat or pudding tonight as I know it might be heavy and really want to see a good result on the scales in the morning. I was 11.6 last Wednesday and 11.4 when I had my mid week weigh in, so would love to be 11.2 tomorrow but it's TOTM so will have to see but I'm keeping everything crossed.

Food for today is as follows:

Breakfast - Banana & grapes
Lunch - Left over tomato chilli veggie meatballs
Dinner - Chicken, salad, couscous and actifry chips

Have a great day all!

Good morning all....Super happy Wednesday!!!!

I got on the scales they're showing 4lbs off this week :)

I am so pleased because I am back towards the 11 mark, hopefully next week I will be under it and totally back on track. So far I've lost 6lbs of my 12lbs holiday gain.

My brother and niece came over last night which was lovely because it was snowing so the girls played out in the garden for an hour before dinner in the snow. I made chicken burgers but instead of building the burgers, I put everything out on the table, plus salad and couscous. I ended up having chicken, couscous, salad and a few actifry chips. Super healthy but felt like a treat :)

I need to go shopping tonight so just having a quick dinner before I go tonight, so think it'll be mainly leftovers tonight.

Have a great day all!
