Good morning!

I didn't get on the scales this morning as I'm changing my weigh in day this week to Friday.

I had a lovely meal out last night for my brothers birthday, I had chicken skewer with salad and sweet potato fries. I had hardly eaten all day, so I'm sure it was all within my daily allowance :)

Not sure what I'm doing for dinner tonight, I'm trying to use up things we've got in, so will be pasta with something, I might try to make a veggie sausage pasta bake as I've got some tinned tomatoes and cheese that needs using up.

Meal out sounds delicious and healthy, good plan to use up some cupboard food before your holiday. Not long now! You are going to look fabulous :classic_big_grin:
 
Good morning....only 1 more sleep to go...so excited!!!!

We did our packing last night. I was slightly disheartened though because I've hardly got any clothes that fit me. I've got lots of shorts and little tops but nothing to wear out in the evening or for walking round the casinos, shops etc..... We have already planned a trip to the outlet for the 3rd day, so if I'm struggling, I'll just have to buy new :)
Just my nails to do tonight and then I'm ready to go!

My food at the minute is a bit random as still trying to use what we've got. Yesterday was popcorn for breakfast, cuppa soup for lunch and spicy tomato and veggi sausage pasta for dinner. Today is grapes for breakfast, left over pasta for lunch and then burger and chips for dinner. I've got some veggi burgers and veggi sausages left, so will be a bit of both.

Yay how exciting! Annoying about having no clothes to wear but what a great excuse to treat yourself to something new :classic_big_grin: Best of luck for WI tomorrow, you have been so good and definitely deserve a loss. Hope you have a wonderful time in Vegas! Can't wait to hear all about it!
 
Good morning....No sleeps till Vegas!!!

I'm so excited today, I've just got to get through the next few hours at work and then I'll be on my way :)

I got on the scales this morning and they have moved down slightly but not all the way to the next lb. The last week has been such a struggle, I have been trying really hard but I know some of my choices may not have been 100% perfect because I've been using up what we had in the freezer.

I'm not going to moan though, I'm going to Vegas 3 stone lighter than I did when I went last time 2 years ago. I looked fat and frumpy then and now I look slim, with a bit of a belly....ah well I can't have it all, can I, lol!! But hey 3 stone lighter and I feel fab!!

Now all I need to do is make sure my holiday gain is minimal, so I can lose it quickly before I go away again at Easter.

Ahh littlemiss, frustrating that you didn't get at least a pound off as deserved but wow, 3 whole stone lighter than last time you went - that must feel amazing! You are going to look fantastic by that pool, I hope you have an amazing time! See you in a week and we will both be smashing it all the way to goal :classic_big_grin:
 
Good morning.....I'm back!!

I stepped on the scales this morning and I've gained 4lbs. Not too bad considering the amount I ate and drank in Vegas but I'm sure the 76 miles that we walked in the 7 days while we were there probably helped!

I had the most amazing time, loved every minute of it and the 4lb gain was definitely worth it.

Back on it now though. I am out tonight for belated Mother's Day meal, I will try to be good and definitely wont be drinking so will hopefully be ok.
I have 2 weeks until I fly to Orlando. So my plan is to get rid of the 4lb gain, I doubt I'll get any more than that off but if I can get back to 10.7 I'll be super happy.

I felt absolutely fantastic on holiday, I haven't felt good in my clothes for a very long time but everything I wore seemed to look and feel good. My daughter (13) didn't come with us, she stayed at home with my mum, so I was sending her through photos every day. She kept pointing out how skinny I looked in some of the photos. It has actually made me feel so good about myself. I brought a few new dresses while I was there, I brought a US 8 which is a UK 12, I didn't really have to try them on because I felt so confident they would fit. I could never have even dreamed I would have got back into size 12 dresses a year ago!
 
Ah hey welcome back! So glad you enjoyed your holiday, sounds fantastic and it's so nice to hear you felt good and slim in what you were wearing! So exciting about the new smaller dresses and lovely comments from your daughter. 4lb gain is absolutely nothing after a holiday, you will definitely have that off before you go to Orlando I'm sure.

Good morning!

Argh jetlag has kicked in....I'm so tired and couldn't sleep last night!!

My plan today is to keep super busy, so I don't either fall asleep at my desk or eat, lol!

I went for dinner last night, omg it was gorgeous. I ended up having fish and chips, it was a huge portion so I ended up leaving about half of it.

I jumped on the scales this morning and they are showing 1lb down since yesterday morning, so maybe I was still swollen up a bit from the plane when I got on the scales yesterday.
I am adamant I will get back to 10.7 by the time I go to Orlando. I am shopping tonight and already have my meals planned for the next week. Plus I am going to try super hard to have atleast 3 litres of water a day. I've got a litre bottle on my desk at work, so am aiming to have 2 bottles a day during the day.
I am still super motivated, I always worry that when I get back from holiday I will give up like I used to when I did SW but if anything doing CC makes me even more determined to get straight back on it.

I always used to give up with SW as well, I think it's psychological as I knew I wasn't getting weighed until whatever day so I would carry on the terrible eating until then and then the gain would be massive. Now it is easy for us to just get straight back on track, it makes a real difference.

I think it is really hard to get back on track after a holiday when you have to think about it but CC comes naturally, so it's easy.
I must admit I used to weigh on a Monday and that was great until I came back from holiday and would say get back on the Sunday and not start eating properly until after the Monday, so I'd think I'll wait until next week and then next week never came. Now that I weigh on a Wednesday, it gives me a few days to settle back in first.

The water is going down really well so far today, I've already had 2 litre bottles. Think I'll get though another one atleast before I leave work :)
 
Wow it's Friday already...where did this week go!!

I've been so busy at work that I've not had chance to update my diary for a few days.

I have been super good and not been over my calories at all since Tuesday. I have also been drinking loads of water. I have been trying to have atleast 3 litres a day. I keep thinking if I swim in water the fat will hopefully slide away!
It seems to have worked because I got on the scales and I've lost 3 of the 4 lbs I gained in Vegas :)
So happy with that as I really want to get back to where I was before I went and I've only got another week till I go to Orlando, so I'm now thinking it is doable :)

I'm planning another 100% day today and tomorrow will be my cheat day. I'm doing the Loros Twighlight walk tomorrow night, so will probably grab a takeaway on the way home but I'm sure it won't be too bad because I'll have walked for a couple of hours first.
 
Well done on the water intake and the 3lb loss - fantastic! How did your twilight walk go? Hope you enjoyed your takeaway, I think you could well be lighter than pre Vegas weight but the time you go to Orlando :classic_big_grin:
 
Good Afternoon....it's Monday again!!

I can't believe the last week has gone so fast. I only have 6 days till I go to Orlando and 4 days till I officially weigh myself before my holiday. I had a sneaky look on the scales this morning and it looks like the water is working, I have lost another 1lb, so back where I was before Vegas :) Now hopefully I can get another 1lb, to take me below.

The twighlight walk was really good but bitterly cold. We were quite late finishing so by the time we got to the chinese takeaway it was closed. I was so gutted because I had been thinking about it all week. I had KFC instead, so decided to have the healthy option. I had the zinger rice box, it's 500 calories. It was actually really nice, I'd have that again and it was healthy :)

The plan for this week is to continue to drink atleast 3 litres of water a day and be within my calories every day. So far today I've had 2 litres of water and a light lunch, so I'm going in the right direction.

I got on the scales and they are still showing the same, maybe I'll get another 1lb by the weekend if I'm lucky. I'm still drowning myself in water, so hopefully that will help. I will weigh on Friday and that will be the end of my diet until after I get back from holiday.

Not too sure now though after pigging out at the chippy last night lol! I had done a 6 mile power walk so hopefully I wont have done too much damage. I'm back to being super good today though. Hoping for a lb off tomorrow and then that'll be my last weigh in before holiday :)

I'm going for 2 weeks, I've been so cold this last week. I'm definitely ready for some sun.

That's it my diet is officially over until after my holiday :) Which is a good thing as there's cake in the office today!!

I didn't manage to lose anymore but I am super happy with losing my 4lb gain from Vegas.

I will back straight back on it after my holiday and no doubt I'll have a few extra lbs to lose.
