My sister has a modern day liberty bodice that she often wears under dresses. It's like magic knicker but just for your tummy and waist. It knocks about 3 inches off her. She can't breath like, but what the heck!

No, for that you need a corset. I wore one a couple of Christmas ago and nearly suffocated on my cleavage!!! I have a picture somewhere, I may post it and you can see what I mean
