Ok folks - here goes!

Wednesday May 19th.

Today I am Extra Easy and my 'A' choice is 350 mls skimmed milk.

Breakfast - Bacon, Scrambled Egg, Mushrooms, Tomatoes, and 3 Morrison's sausages ( 1.5 syns)

Lunch - Chicken salad, a pear , some strawberries and a pot of Hartley's sugar free jelly ( 0.5 syns)

Afternoon snack - Choc-orange hi-fi bar ( Healthy B ) and a banana

Dinner - Homemade cottage pie with carrots, cabbage and mushy peas

Treats - A couple of cheeky vodka and diet cokes.....:)


Extra bits - lots of fruit!

Thursday 20th May - Extra Easy

Hi Folks -

Well today I am Extra Easy again, so here goes....

Breakfast

2 Poached eggs, 2 slices toast, 5 rashers of grilled bacon

Mid Morning

Punnet of strawberries

Lunch

Jacket Potato with crab and Hellman's Extra - Light Mayonnaise

Afternoon snack

A pear and 2 satsumas and a Hartley's jelly ( 1/2 syn)

Dinner

Bacon, Mushroom and onion fried in fry lite and mixed into pasta with a spoonful of low fat creme fraiche - absolutley delicious!

Remember the 1/3 fruit/veg for the main meals, so you may want to have a side salad with your lunch as well.

Friday May 21st :) - Extra Easy!

Breakfast

1 Choc Ornage cereal bar ( HEB) and a banana

Lunch

leftover pasta and bacon etc from last night with a pear, 2 satsumas and a prune yogurt ( 4 syns )

Dinner

Pork meatballs with spaghetti - recipe in the new magazine

Hi Liz what were the pork meatballs like? Are they the ones the mag describes as 'savoury' meatballs? (Have just read the mag in the garden - have had a rant about it in my weight loss diary btw). Only asking cos I was trying to imagine what 'sweet' meatballs would be like!

Aah I've just realised you won't have had them yet. Duh!

Well I actually made them last night - giving them a chance to 'bind' or 'bond' with the egg.....I added garlic, cumin, coriander, cinammon and nutmeg and I have to say they are smelling lovely!

I will be posting the conclusions of the house later! x
