Was just wondering cos now i'm back on abstienence i've decided to do the following :

    11am : Choc shake

    2pm : Thai Chilli Soup

5pm : Choc shake (will be a toffee bar from next week)

    8pm : Thai Chilli Soup

I like having the soup late cos evenings are my most difficult time BUT i think 11am is a bit late to wait for the first pack - i'm starving!!! I know i'm not in ketosis yet so hopefully this will be better tomorrow....

How do you eat yours

    Hi Karen,

    9 am Chocolate shake

    12 ish Thai chilli/Mushroom soup

4 pm Chocolate shake or soup made into popadum

7 pm Chocolate shake or soup - will be fruit bar and de-caff coffee from day 4 (my favourite)

I'm day two today - feeling like I've been hit by a truck in the middle of the night!!! :)

If I go out and need to have a pack, I mix a little cold water with a chocolate pack and eat like mousse - yummy!:p

Hi Karen, I'm in Lynnes class in Merthyr, so perhaps we will bump into each other sometime!:)

I'm only on day 21 of LL, but have fallen in to a regular pattern of vanilla shake with coffee for 'breakfast' at about 7.30/8ish, chicken or thai chilli soup at 12 (enforced lunch break time at work), another soup or hot chocolate coffee when I make the kids their tea at 4.30 ( my old danger time for fridge raiding and grazing) and I finish with my cooked pack at 9 each night, which will be thai chilli crisps or a chocolate muffin. Psychologically I think I feel like I've had a good meal to go to bed on if I have some thing to chew at supper time!!:p

Of course it might change, but I think keeping to traditional meal times makes things easier for me, so that I don't feel like a complete social outcast!! I make my soup up in a big bowl to sit with the children for meals at the weekend, so I'm still eating with them, even if it wasn't lovely Sunday Roast.:(

8-9ish (depending on whether I do the school run), vanilla or toffee coffee.

12.30 - 1ish either mushroom, chicken or veg soup.

    4.30ish a chocolate mousse.

8ish after the kids in bed I generally make some crisps or have another soup if I can't be bothered making the crisps.

    Hi Vikki

You're doing great so far hun, well done - i started at 16 stone 4, so very similar to your starting point! Stick with it as it's changed my life completely!!

I used to do similar - sort've every four hours ish - but i liked i'lldoit's plan of every three hours - not so long to wait for next pack!! It's hard waiting for 11am for first one though!! So maybe i should start at 10?? Mind you ketosis is just around the corner so i'll feel differently then i'm sure...

I eat when hungry - try to drink as much water as possible then you know for sure that you're not hungry! I actually struggle somedays to have more than 3 packs! I usually have fist pack around 10am 2nd 2-3pm both of which are usually hot coffees (made with mellow birds coffee!!!!) I have a soup at about 6-7pm which means one left sometimes another coffee or shake or I make biscuits from lemon or toffee bar.
Just go with your own body xxx

CAROLYNE42XX Failure is not an Option

    Hi there.

I have the following roughly same everyday :-

8.00am - 2 x vanilla shakes made with ice cold water & a couple of ice cubes and 1 tsp of mellow bird coffee mixed with blender. I always drink it with a long straw. It takes me longer!!

During day I manage without. I can do this at work to a point if I am busy and it doesn't bother me. Id rather eat at home.

5.30pm - When I get in from work I make myself either a Mushroom or Chicken hot soup with salt and pepper.

8.30-9.00pm - 1 x Toffee Bar done in the microwave without chopping it up. I microwave it for 1min 10 secs. It comes out a huge cookie type thingy. Physcologically it feels like Im having alot and I have this with either a black tea or coffee.

Yesterday, had to drive to Slough to pick up my new car so as I was driving for over 8 hours I had a bar about 3.00ish to put me on as I was hungry, then I had another bar before I went to bed.

    Good Luck on abstinence Karen.

    Hi clucks

Well that's good advice in the real world, but if you don't get hungry on ketosis then you'll never eat!! You're crazy having only 3 packs a day - even on 4 i had terrible hair loss and toilet troubles and your missing out a quarter of your daily nutrition!!!!!! How long you been doing LL hun?

    Roll on ketosis then!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mind you, i'll be knocking myself out of it every weekend with wine!! Prob have some wine tomorrow as i'm out and about in london too....

    Hi Carolyne

Well that's an interesting way of doing it!!! Works for you though and i'm soooo tempted to try the whole toffee bar in the microwave - what consistency is it? hard???? i tried it about a year ago cut up and i wasn't impressed but then i hated the bars then - but now i love them!!!

You're doing great on your journey - well done!

In abstinence I would have my morning pack at about 9.30 ish made into a hot porridge made with pysllium husks.

12.30ish would be a lunch of a soup.

    4.30ish would be a muffin

8.30ish (eveneing are worst time) would be a bar made into biscuits so I could nibble.

I know you aren't meant to cook more than one pack a day and wouldn't recommend it but it got me through.
